This is the most accurate assessment of both of them.
Anybody stanning for either needs to reevaluate their own life.
The only real difference between the two at this point is Drake is still able to drop decent music while Meek is sitting on 100 verses about his Rollie that he wrote while on house arrest.

Drake is the GOAT male Pop artist currently, just happens that he makes rap/sings.
He can't even be discussed in the pantheon of great rappers at this point though considering the amount of help he gets.

**** outta here. I didn't "deny" ****. I couldn't care less about protecting any rapper from ghostwriting. I don't care about ANY of them to the point where I would defend their honor online.
If you show me a bunch of reference tracks, accusations from MULTIPLE people, etc...I wouldn't have a choice but to believe that rapper has writers. I damn sure wouldn't need to see a timestamped video of the ghostwriting taking place, admission by rapper or writers, DNA, or whatever the hell you dudes count as "proof".
I call it the way I see it. I'm not even knocking Drake for it. I'm knocking the obsessed fans who be spinning harder than Kyrie Irving when this topic gets bought up.
I mean you ACTUALLY suggested the idea that those PND reference tracks might actually be "versions that Drake asked him to record".

Hov took lines from other rappers and got help on a few hooks, and he's considered to be one of the goats. This ghostwriting stuff isn't what people make it out to be since hella people get some modicum of help.

People who came up on 80s and 90s rap music care because when people say he's the best rapper ever, top 10, top 5, etc that **** is a mockery of what we love.
It's disrespectful to actual rappers. No substance, no knowledge, nothing. I listen to pointless waste of a beat music too but I won't claim any of them ****** are the best anything.
It's more than music to some of us I guess.
All facts. Dude is an outstanding pop artist but that rapper ****..... Nah. He's entertaining but he's still just acting to me. Rapper Drake is just another character he plays.

The funny thing is...there's not even necessarily anything wrong with this. I completely get it. Drake is a BUSINESS. I have absolutely NO problem with him having writers.
It's the fans who seem somewhat embarrassed or hurt by ppl pointing out the writer thing.

What I'm getting at is the fact that the ghostwriting/getting help stuff is hardly the deterrent people think it is. I'm not arguing the one instance of getting that help is lesser or greater than the other. **** happens (more times than we'd like to think), but it is what it is. If what people are saying is that Drizzy can't be deserving of the praise he gets, an objective person could say the same about many others, Hov being one of em.

1 year later Drakes credibility is ruined. He dropped a HUGE brick with Views. PND looks like he's done giving Drake his best material, QM out the picture. Now he's gonna try and Finesse Gucci for his songs and ride his wave. I'd be surprised if Drake is popping next year.
I hope Future just saves his stuff for DS3 and Drake can get the throwaways
