🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

Enough of these irrelevant overrated washed up rappers. No more Lil trash talk, ***** can't even release a album, lost all his suburban white fan base and stabbed the streets in the back so he can't back track and go back to cater to them.

What's the mega pop star been up to? His tour start yet?

What is going in here? Wayne ain't a hip-hop legend?

T.I is better than Wayne?
Demolition Freestyle 1&2 > T.I

Eminen don't have subject matter ?

It's hard to have conversations about rap, either dudes is too young or they prisoners of The moment

No need to get offended my guy, taste is subjective.
Nah bro that was in reference to this
Yea if you're into the near adolescent but of age look, Ariana is

As if there's a standard look for Adolescent and Adult women. It's weird honestly for me to associate full fledged adult women as children. Like I don't get it tbh But i'm over it. Moving on.

Tour starts in a few days I think, or today, Idk.

I'm hitting the LA show in September.

TI music got way more replay value to me. He had something to say. I still listen to **** from I'm Serious (skip TI vs Tip) to Paper Trail. Only Wayne album I really play is Carter 2. Other than that it's bunch of those loose mixtape songs.

Not to mention TIP murdering him on swagger like us

Believe it starts tomorrow in Houston

http://www.rap-up.com/2016/07/18/drake-views-returns-to-no-1-schoolboy-q-debuts-at-no-2/

Yesterday was Monday forgot to post chart news update!

"Views" back to number 1 (10th week) and "One Dance" number 1 (10th week) HATE it or LOVE it we're witnessing HISTORY!

Call me crazy, but with tour right around the corner sales will be steady I can see "Views" being in the top 10 for the rest of the year!
That's good and all but this album is by far the worst album Drake has released.... he's just at the point where no matter how good the albums are he's going to sell

Fab has never been considered the best at any point, the hell if Lil Wayne was ever the best.

Hell, he was going to do a project with Juelz, and Juelz wasn't even the best in Dip Set.

And what does this have to do with anything?

Fab never made the Carter or Carter 2. Fab just wasn't as good as Wayne. This is just more NY hating on the south. I'm a fab fan by the way. More Street Dreams is one of my favorite mixtapes. But after Hov "retired"...Wayne had a real claim to "Best rapper alive" for a period of time.

Fab, Wayne & Cass murked this though :pimp:. Fab got Wayne and Cass on 6 minutes of death.

3:45 of death cause after Fab is done rapping that song is over.

Even Jae Mills has a better 6 minutes verse to me.

Where's the inflation?

This isn't specifically about Apple, but

An article I was reading brought up a good point about streaming numbers.

A lot of the numbers come from the curated playlists that Spotify/Apple/TIDAL create potentially with label involvement.

There is a lot of people who only stream those playlists and don't even have a paid Spotify account, they treat it as their radio. I know some people just let Pandora or Spotify play whatever, they pick a genre or initial song and Spotify generates a playlist.

A lot of those playlists don't change for months so that can stop other songs from organically getting traction. Just something to consider.

But then again, streaming can't be ignored because that's how most people consume music now.

Fab >>> Wayne

Wayne don't even have a good album. Son was mumbling over tracks saying nothing and corny metaphors. Last Wayne album I bought was 500 and that **** was trash. Someone gave me C1 and I threw that **** out the window of my car.

Em don't have **** to say anymore. Just like someone else was saying. 50, Jay and all them filthy rich cats don't have **** to say. I can still listen to Em's first three albums though. His story telling is unreal. It's like you sitting there watching a movie. Had that flow mastered. Dre laced him with some hard beats.

If you want to say BIG not a GOAT because you're a child or because 2.5 albums ain't enough, I respect that. To say Wayne and TI are better, all your musical opinions will be dismissed.

Streaming music and counting it is a joke. They said Hotline Bling had enough streams to make it platinum that first week. Views didn't sell nearly as much as they're trying to make it seem. Posted the billboard article a few weeks ago. I think Views has actually sold like 400K-500K as of today

It be like groundhogs day in here with this streaming issue. Once again streaming is how the majority of music is consumed.

Its the correct model for our current era please stop begging to go back to an outdated system.

 delusion is strong with this one.. Views pure sales are 1.3 million and its been streamed over a billion times.

You stay with the weirdo / hate takes on Drake's streaming numbers. If you don't know how streaming works don't comment on it.
