🦉The Official Drake Thread6️⃣ - Scary Hours 3 11.17.23

I understand why dudes like drake as a artist. Hes in a kanye lane when it comes to making hits and good songs. But I've never understood the appeal for him lyrically. I've never heard any songs where son lyrics make the song. I'm talking average beat or no hook/simple hook where he's just spazzing. I don't get it, can someone post a fee examples of this? Then its like do he write that **** he be saying anyway? I don't even know anymore.

That's the best thing about Drake, he can do it all. Most versatile rapper

push solo career has been super mediocre

now cats wanna tout him as lyrically untouchable

boys could claim that when the clipse were together but being solo it exposed him a bit

I'm hearing his new album is up to par tho but it's been a slow grind back

I can only speak for myself I don't think Pusha is a lyrical monster but if your in the mood to listen to rap about drugs push is pretty filthy ... CAN I LIVE?

Exposed? Pusha's last two projects have him sounding like an updated Raekwon, and if you think Drake can outracanp Raekwon, lol. You can say he's had a mediocre solo run, but that would be due to sales, not actual skill and quality.

Why do ppl come into Drakes thread and think that criticizing Drake is gonna garner anything but hate & irrational fans

Some of the stuff i read in here by these Drake fans is just  and yall really believe it too lol

Pusha wack and K. Dot just puts words together? Man Aubrey is my dude but these delusions of grandeur have to stop. He's nowhere near the top as a lyrical rapper.

I came to realize I don't really even hate drake at all. All the **** I say about him is in retaliation to the crazy **** his fans say. Its like they don't think before saying things which spawns me to throw dirt at dude when I really don't hate him. Don't like him but don't hate him either, y'all know how to make people hate him tho.

Just like dude that said hotline bling and were going home aren't pop songs. And that if they are pop songs then dipset hey ma is a pop song... Like ***** what are u talking about? How does that even make sense?

I'm not talking sales

I'm talking quality

pushs projects outside this last one have all been lackluster and I love the clipse

just bought hell hath no fury again yesterday or the day before

NT loves to overrate Pusha T I swear dude has has been rapping about the same brick for 10 plus years and makes some wack *** songs as a solo artist he's wild one dimensional ...and for the record no one in here would respond if they were Drake .. why would a platinum artist respond to someone selling 50,000 copies his week why give him the exposure.. Only internet weirdos and hipsters listen to these lackluster Coke bars

Its ironic that the 2 fan bases of artist who's best work was written by others are this delusional. He and drake fans are off their rockers when they defending these ******.

Bruh what are you talking about his best work was written by others  I've been seeing you say that so much lately...did you really read what they said about the weeknd thing, or are you just reading the title and running with it

Take care is like 20 songs

Weekend gave drake like 5 songs or something like that

The ride - (NO VERSE FROM THE WEEKEND JUST THE VOCALS OVER THE BEAT IN THE BACKGROUND, BASCIALLY DRAKE RAPPED OVER THE WEEKEND'S BEAT) actually one of drakes best songs he goes in on this :x
Crew love - (the weekend is most of the song, Drake throws a verse in at the end)
Good ones go - (Not even a whole song, BASCIALLY like an interlude or something, weekend gave the whole thing to Drake, all the weeknd, Drake just resign it)
Practice - ( all weekend, Drake basically just resung it)

I feel like I am missing one though,

Notice ALL of those are RNB songs that weekend helped Drake with. Weekend is not out here writing Drake bars so what are u really talking about

EDIT a shot for me - (weekend wrote all the singing most likely, Drake resings it, MAKES HIS OWN VERSE at the end...)

Evidently somebody else helps him with that and please don't feed me the credit **** cuz he didn't credit qm for the Rico joint. All I'm saying is the fans of artist who openly have help and bring in other artist to write their music are the most delusional ones. These ****** are superheroes to y'all, can't do no wrong. L's didn't happen and every song is good. I thought the kanye thread was bad but Jesus u and others got them dudes beat.

such an under the radar song but one of his bests , that song was literally drake featuring drake the way he did the hook and verses , rick ross lulz

****** hate on drake so much but if you get girls , this guy is the man , if youre a wanna be drug dealer with no way of relating to relationships / real life stuff then pusha t is your boy so you can make pretend youre yo gotti in that prius .

look at real life , srsly

someone pulls up well dressed , in a nice brand new german , fresh haircut , some clean jewelry, with a GIRL that isnt a ******* - if you had to guess , he is probably a drake fan

someone pulls up wearing a versace shirt , sunglasses indoors ,a fake big cuban, wearing jordans or fake gucci shoes , with the fake gucci belt , an #NTfitted and some true religions , talking ghetto and acting like they slang yay when they really just snort cut , in a beat up car that has 24's and bass , hes probably a future / pusha fan

my 2 cents but you guys know what i mean i know i go everywhere , screw you if you dont like my post

The thing is though, apparently Drake has help with almost everything he does. That Meek exposure really takes away
from literally everything he does now. How are you 100% sure all those legit songs from Drake are written by him? I'm not
talking about the r&b songs either, I'm talking about the actual rap songs he's known for.

Pusha is way more lyrical but it doesn't matter 90% of his lyrical skill revolves around drugs which till this day IMO is
lame. I can't believe he's wasting his skill being basically a coke rapper. Although he is the best in that lane, I feel he's
at the top of the pole. Under him is Jada, Fabolous...

With that said I don't think Pusha wants it with Drake at this time. We have never seen Pusha come directly at anyone and
make a clear diss. He was even afraid to come at Wayne, when Wayne was at the top. Drake would pretty much end Pusha
and I kinda want to see it happen because dude sneak diss and run is annoying. JUST SAY HIS NAME!

Your post was null and void after claiming pusha was afraid to diss Wayne.

You need to go listen to we got it 4 cheap 3 and re-evaluate your post
