Child please. Outside of 9am, 6pm, 5am, Tuscan Leather and 30 for 30 Drake don't eem do songs just spitting that often at all.

90059 was a great project, Rock always pretty much murders every feature he's on as well. He's a better rapper not a better artist.

And there's the go to..."nobody cares about him" popularity =/= best at your craft. Hell Krit can't eem get played on the radio in his own city b/ his label screwing with him. Wish somebody would tell me Drake is a better rapper than him. Being an Aubrey stan myself I'd at minimum go tell you to exfoliate your face.

I thought you meant best as in number 1. Nah he's not number 1 but he's up there and ahead of Aubrey as are quite a few others as rappers. I don't think you can really be in that conversation when before IYRTITL where he was jacking everyone else's flow that you are singing in 75% of your songs. I mean does Drake even have his own flow? K. Dot, Push, Rock all have distinctive aggressive flows. Krit is more smooth yet still aggressive with the south flow. Cole and Lupe are more direct and dry with their stuff. I can't even pinpoint a sole sytle that Drake has cause he keeps jumping from person to person.

ASAP is a decent rapper, so is Big Sean at times but I'm not putting them in the same category as those other guys.

The migos - the language?

You gonna have to run those by me...must of missed em. Drake has a clear distinct flow...not even the one he's using right now where he kinda stresses every ending syllable. It's kinda like the singing thing mixed with the rapping. But it's more closer to rapping.

Good examples would be like the end of days on the east, last verse on thru, how bout now, etc he's been having that flow since day 1. And then he's versatile with it...he can get on a song like HYFR and use a flow like that(underrated song IMO).

I wouldn't even bother comparing Drake and Jay Rock. Rock's style is way more aggressive. They are in 2 different worlds. Kendrick, Cole and Krit are the 3 best rappers in this class. Drake is definitely better than ASAP Rocky though lol.


Drake should make more Tuscan Leather, 5AM tracks. Stop with the Future and Migos flow, **** don't sound right when he use it.

Idk why people always try to compare Drake to rappers mentioned ^ it's obvious he's not aiming to make their type of music...never once have I heard anyone listen to a Kendrick/Push/Lupe album and say "oh but Drake is a better artist"...it only seems to be one-sided when it comes to Drakes rapping...his rapping, for lack of a better term, has dumbed down more recently, because he, and anyone else who has thrived in todays music...knows it's about artistry, and not lyrics.

People don't bring up drake when listening to them other dudes because most don't see drake as a rapper. He's an artist, that's his thing, nothing wrong with that. Dudes only bring up the other dudes when Drake is involved because the 3 or 4 times he actually raps, they put him in that class of best out. U got dudes putting out full bodies of work or straight bars, wordplay, elite lyricism etc. Then drake has a couple tracks like that and they call the 2 equal. Like ***** no its not, u can't rap some **** 4 out of 16 tracks and be better then the guy who rapped some **** on 11 of 11. He's a respectable lyricist, he's not garbage and I'll put him over rocky but he's not >> k dot, kendrick, push and a few other cats I won't name because y'all will say no one listens to them.
