It's whatever for me, but from watching the game, it looked like VY ran into Merriman and the hit didn't look intentional at all.

But hey, if he did do it intentionally, more power on the payback.

From what I saw Vince wasnt looking and ran into Merriman.

Merriman could of put a crazy hit on Vince but he didnt.

This dude Merriman stays taking L's this year...He's been blown up 3-4 times now, right?
 
Good thing they got him out of the game...he may have ended up with 2 more sacks.

Fisher may not have liked how Merriman was running through his TE and tackles.

That particular hit on VY wasn't dirty. If you watched the game you would have seen that Shawne was blocked into a position where VY ran into him. The CBScrew commented the same thing.

However, to VY Merriman's two sacks definitely were dirty. VY was shook all game long after that. Hence the crack back block.
 
wack. hartsock gets no props anyone coulda laid that hit. head up or nothing.

and yeah that was def set up. crack back on a swing pass? c'mon now.
 
call it what you wish. yeah merriman got hit...so what?!?! this game of fooseball is full of it. you get the oohs and aahs from the homecrowd...good. that's what's supposed to happen. but after all that's said and done, merriman finishes the half w/ 2 sacks, a couple of hurries, abum knee and a vince young who runs into a truck w/ no feelings hurt (from young)...oh and one other thing, a CHARGERS VICTORY!!! stupid lendale white, justiceserved...yeah, he was on fire for a min running through, finding holes in the line and scoring his td; don't aggrivate the other squad by mocking their sig"celebration moves." don't get me wrong, i like lendale (USC trooper!!!) and mocking happens all the time...but geez. what happened to mr. whitein the extra session? the first two plays the titans ran were for him. i remembered what happened when chad johnson did the "lights out"dance...bengals lose...haha. but anyway, like i said merriman got cracked, but it can will happen again i'm sure. the only one who's really hurt arethe titans and vince young's followers aka fans.

So what's this thread really about? That Merriman got put down again or the fact that VY ran into Merriman on that play and ya'll are trying to makesomething out of nothing. I know you guys saw that highlight and the so called hit Merriman put on VY is BS. It's obvious and clear that VY ran into him.Dierdorff(sp?) even commented on that during the game like Supra mentioned.

Gunna, you a fool for that gif. I know where you're coming from in regards to Merriman and that steroid use last season, but to say that hit wasintentional on VY is BS.
 
that shouldve been a penalty for illegal motion, he was headed towards the line up scrimmage pre snap

Anyway, Vince Young is one of the most dramatic people in the NFL. Every time he gets slightly injured he falls to the ground and flails around, makingeveryone think he's just suffered a career ending injury. Ten seconds later he hops up, and everyone cheers and praises him for being so tough.
