EA event this weekend?

i spoke to a friend of mine and he was saying something about this being a possibility anyone else hear anything....there was one last year on this weekend so i dunno if that means anything i know in the past alot of times they put them on the same date to compete with the past years sales...any confirmation would be great

My manager told me today that he heard on conference call that it would be the 30-31 of July

He's probably talking about the jordan pack and you're referring to the air max 90.

my local store got a shipment from a houston store so, now i just gotta talk to one of the employees. my hold hook up got fired

I heard the EA weekend will be next week, and if it is it will be excluded. All new releases are excluded from EA events. Seeing how next weekend is the 23rd and the 24th, it will be excluded if it falls on those days since the infrared 90 release date is the 24th.

But, like others are saying if the EA event is on the 30th/31st, then the release will not be excluded since its not a "new" release anymore.

Same thing happened to me with the "Slate" 95s release.. They came out, I purchased with my employee discount, the following week was a EA event, I returned and re-purchased with the 50% off.

I hope the Employee Appreciation is coming soon because buying footwear at 50% off is fun for me. I like sneakers a lot. When I buy the sneakers half off I get excited and am very happy. It is soo fun for me. I get soo excited. I usually buy the sneakers and wear them out of the store. Then when people see me wearing them they be like "damn this dude must have mad loot to be rocking them." Then that night I switch it up and rock a different pair to the club and cats be like "damn I saw that dude rocking fresh joints in the mall earlier and now he has some different fresh joints on." This is how I mack it to shorties.

unless the manager is one of those company puppets, most wouldn't care.  life is about saving money so there's nothing wrong with doing what he did.
