Still not the OG material but the shape on them looks a little better than the first retros. Gotta see in person but I think I'll cop a pair...

We’re glad Bo Jackson’s still a big part of Nike Training today, but let’s look back at one of his classics – the Nike Air Trainer Max ‘91. This shoe is indeed a Sneaker News favorite, as it was featured in our Classics Revisited segment, and this second retro of the grey/yellow colorway should be a real treat for Trainer fans. Last year’s retro of the Trainer SC was a big hit and we reckon the grey/yellow original colorway of the Max ‘91 to be the same, although this time you’ll get a nubuck upper opposed to the thick durabuck upper that was used in the original. If you missed out on the retro from half a decade ago, here’s your chance again: These are set to drop in August but already popped up in some shops like Premier, so don’t sleep!
