anybody know what kind of marker or paint that match the yellow midsole on the grey pair?

Wow. I still have my 2005 release that I barely wear.. The white midsole hard rubber yellowed within a year or so. The nubuck is a pain to clean, if not IMPOSSIBLE.. The banana boat syndrome is alive with these.. Comfort is decent. I cant see myself ever wanting them again in this current fashion though Unless they go for $40.
The black whites hit outlets for $50 not long after they released a couple years back.
How many times have these released now? I think the 05s were the first retro. Mine havent paint chipped yet. I see it in here by a few who said theres paint chipped. Are you talking about what released later? 2009 ish or later??

My grey stone yellow ones look even worse. Trying to locate them as well lol
Cheap *** nike if they had just used the white outsole coming up on the side of the black midsole like on the forefront there would be no cracking paint. But instead they just painted the back of the midsole white instead of doing like below

I wear my grey/yellow ones at least 3 times a week as beaters. They're comfortable but yeah that midsole paint turns to trash pretty quick.
As for the grey Nubuck, it is a pain in the *** to keep clean. Mr. Clean magic eraser works pretty good but it's not long before they look filthy again. Mine are the 2009 retro but I also had the 2005 pair and sold them once the paint started to crack.
I might grab the black ones this time around on a discount if they sit cause I kept sleeping on them last 2 times but I won't lose sleep over them.

Bought the grey/yellow pair 3 years ago for $60 and handed them over to my bro in law at good condition. These will hit outlets again.

I'm hoping your right Pana and maybe history will repeat itself, but I'm with Grizz and I don't think I have the patience to wait it out this time. Besides the way some of these outlets be setting prices now they'd prob drop $20 off the MSRP and let them sit for another year till they hit that sweet $40-$60 price range.

Just FYI, the og's did that exact same thing. I remember trying to fix mine with a white paint marker.

Same here, but when I saw the pics of the black/white a few days ago this wave of nostalgia came over me and I said no way I'm letting them slip through my grasp.
Anyone know the month they are supposed to come out? EU site has them up already, not in my size though.

The black/whites are one of my favorite kicks of all time, and i think i have 3 or 4 pairs of the 2005's, but there is one thing about the retro that has always bugged me. For whatever reason, Nike refuses to make that toe bumper white. Totally darkens the shoe up. Nothing that kills the design of the shoe or anything, just adds a little more pop.

Alot of times if a stupid website like kicksdeals post something like a shoe and use a code for certain percent off sales will jump and then eastbay will quickly exclude the shoe again
This is why those types of sites should only post real deals and not everyday code off options

Sweet fancy Moses! Those are the 2 og's I've been begging for for yeeeears now. I had the teal pair in middle school, along with the black/whites.

You would think they would come out with those colorways now that they retroing those husrache trainers that are white green n purple
