Might just hit up HoH and cop these today. I don't care about the purp air bag. I remember having the lows of these and wore them to death. Such a comfy shoe.

I agree. I think because of the lighting the suede looks extra shiny. Besides, with nike trying to save $$ where ever the opportunity presents itself, I doubt very much they'd replace the suede with a more expensive material like leather, imo.
....Unless of course leather is in fact cheaper than suede

I guess I will check the HoHs in woodfield tomorrow when I go. Doubt they have my size but it is worth a gamble. I need these and the ATC3s and I'm going on a shoe fast

Just got these in the mail. I found a pair in great condition for $75 on ebay. I was psyched because normally when I look for these or the Air More Uptempo all i find are guys wanting $200-$300 for my size 11.5 or 12. Fortunately I found these.
They even have the infamous white pocket you guys hipped me to

I think they have never retroed the black white colorway properly
First retro i believe they got the nike air on the back right but took some purple off
Second retro they got the purple right but they changed the back nike air logo
Not sure if there was a third retro
Now they retroing with the purple air chambers, glossy white nike air logo on back and supposedly leather tongue
Nike knows what they are doing
The black white colorway always reminded me of the jordan 9 white black

They definitely know..it can't be just "available materials",the leather tongue is ridiculous..that is really a weird choice to change up..like the white lace lock on the OG..why they mess wit a great thing,I'll never know.

First retro in 04 or whenever it was actually used royal blue instead of purple. Completely destroyed the shoe. Might as well have been a whole new colorway. It was so bad, I sent mine back lol.
