Is the House of Hoops losing its mystique?

I think HOH never really had a cetain mystique to it UNTIL the Harlem store opened up. Because if anyone here is old enough to remember, before HOH opened there first store in Harlem - almost every urban Footlocker had a HOH section of shoes and items such as exclusive Hyperflights, Flightposites, Shox, etc. (Anybody remember those little rubber HOH dog-tags they use to slap on all the kicks?)
Once the store in Harlem opened, it became mystique and rare because it was the only one. A whole store dedicated to HOH items. But once that store opened in Chicago and L.A, HOH was becoming more and more common and now since there planning on opening 100+ in the future, they're just continuing the same plan they had from the beginning.

If it means that people who want kicks and do not live near one dont have to pay a reseller I am all for more openings. But with the internet all sneaks are available anyway. Never thought it was that special anyway.

Yea a bit I think, but I'm still glad one is coming to miami. As long as they have a decent selection of pe's I'll be happy because that's what I think is pretty cool about the whole thing. I mean yea its nice to get limited foams or w/e but thats not what I'm too hype about.
btw, I'm going to sf in a few weeks, is the hoh there worth checking out?
