There was a thrift store pick up thread in the sneaker showcase and it got shut down.  I dont understand why maybe a mod can help me out.  There is an Ebay pick up thread  but the thrift store pickups have to use the official pick up thread?  Doesnt make sense to me.  I started to make a thread about buying at thrift stores and selling on ebay to make money but nobody was into it.

I always shop at thrift stores for Halloween, I can put together a good costume for so much cheaper than if I were to buy everything new. Ive had some other good finds too, I remember a while back I got a Kobe authentic for something like $15

Wow seriously, I hope you realize most of the clothing you wear is made in sweatshops where conditions are no better then a barn yard. O and don't forget the same clothes you buy from the store are shipped, possibly dropped, stepped on, etc etc. Get over yourself. You poop and Pee just like everyone else.

I love vintage shopping. I got an amazing Hermes (I don't know how to do the accents on NT) scarf for a really great price. I had it appraised, and it's considered valuable. Also got a nice dress from the 50s, and I always get compliments on it when I wear it. I sometimes buy my books from thrift stores because they'll have bestsellers for like 3/$1. I copped a ton of Stephen King book for $5 that way.
I am also a big fan of vintage clothes. I have a whole closet dedicated to "collectibles" I need to start selling them off. A Goodwill I was at recently had a bunch of Stephen King books for sale in brand new condition. I should have bought them and flipped them on ebay but I am entirely too lazy for that. Maybe when my blog takes off I'll have a section of things for sale. I don't like ebay and their fees.

Everything they sell is washed first of course. It's the law.

Personally i've bought hundreds upon hundreds of books at various thrift stores.

Some funiture, lots of random artwork and countless nes/snes/n64 games.

Even found a NICE grand piano for 100 bucks a few years ago.

Oh and awhile back i bought a REAL rolex for 37 dollars. Had it cleaned and fixed up for 4 bills and it's valued at 3 grand.

Will you also teach me how to use terrible grammar?  In case you were not aware a double negative is when two negatives are used in the same clause.  Because of this rule in the English language you are not able to say cant and nothing in the same clause.
