I always thought all Verizon phones were unlocked.. I've never been on Verizon that is just what I've always thought from what I heard a while back

I got it activated. Had to go the their international chat help. Basically put the Sim from my one into my N5 and they did whatever and it worked. Should have never went into the store. Guy in there had no clue but also had too much pride :smh:.

And Flash i'll let you know.. I was waiting for my phone to charge up a bit. Just unlocked bootloader probably gonna flash TWRP over CWM as far as recoveries go. Then do Kanga
 
I just used Kwonngers N5 toolkit.. easy as fuu just follow the directions and you should have no problems..

Also just created a backup.. gonna flash Kanga and let y'all know how it goes

EDIT: I also didn't bother rooting the phone because most the roms come with root.. just unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP, then kanga.

Somebody help me out on understanding this battery life.

When my S3 was in prime condition I got about 16-18 hrs, 2.5 hrs screen time, mostly 4G some Wi-Fi. Now it's dropped down to about 12 hrs, 2 hrs screen time (I need a new battery :smh:)

So for those of you who have a S4, G2 or N5 what's your actual 100% to 0% time looking like and screen time.

Yeah, just sounds like you're battery is getting weak iono..

The S4 and N5 are pretty close in terms of battery life.. the S4 has a little more juice but it isn't that much better.. The G2 however, is far better than both of those devices and it really isn't close.

And so far on KangaBean it feels basically like stock

I guess now Google Apps can be uninstalled, not sure if you can do that out of box.. as well as the stuff you can get by rooting your phone like no ads, tethering and so forth.. I guess it's just his entry. I'll just wait and see what he has down the road for this rom.. it seems like he has a pretty nice following with his other roms on other devices, most notably the S4. I look forward to flashing all the roms that are gonna be rolling in these coming weeks

Talking about tones... Can anyone tell me where to get the "bell" tone from Breaking Bad... My boy has it on his iphone, its dope :lol:

Good looks. So here's my next question.

I've never made it 2 years (or hell even a year) without a battery goin to crap on my phone, but I've always had phones with removable batteries. The G2 and N5 look like my next move, but I'd hate to be sitting here a year from now with a phone that has a piss poor battery life and I can't switch it out.

Is there something different ya'll doing to make your batteries last longer and what do you do when it goes bad on a phone that has a non-removable battery?
