Tired of expensive a** Verizon and on top of that it doesn't even get 4G LTE in my apartment.

So I'm getting a T-Mobile Sim card and putting it into my Verizon Galaxy Note 2. It doesn't even have to be unlocked and I will get HSDPA+ speeds which is great. Many people have done the same.

CDMA phones with LTE suck when they don't get a 4G signal, because it defaults to EVDO Rev A which doesn't allow simultaneous voice and data. I'm so used to having that capability that I can't have it any other way. Goodbye Verizon.

How many necks have you broken wearing it?

Multiple necks have been broken I'm just waiting for someone to ask me what it is so that I can actually use the guess mode.

I switched from Verizon to T-Mobile when I got the N5 and I have had no issues with connectivity. You won't regret switching.

I made the switch from VZW to T-Mobile as well (straight talk). Had it for almost 6 months. I don't get service at my house in SJ (I did with VZW).

Other than that .. it's been :pimp:

Probably let's you access general features like Internet or weather but protects personal information like contacts and Web history.

Does T-Mobile throttle you after a certain point? I'm getting tired of AT&T with the throttling.

If you're on the $30 plan after 5GB of LTE they throttle you to edge, I believe. I'm close to it, so we'll see, it's my first month of service so far. I'm very pleased so far.

Pretty much. It's a sperate homescreen that you can choose to show what apps/info you want to share. No access to the app drawer, photos or anything.

has anyone with a Verizon note 2 been updated yet? I saw an article saying that it was supposed to start last Friday.

I have the $20 unlimited 4G lte plan.
I've used about 10 gbs and my coworkers use 20+ gbs a month since they don't have home Internet and they haven't been throttled. I've asked everybody and they've told me no throttling.

Man if the Nexus 5 had the battery life of a G2 it would be my favorite phone out there. This battery kills me sometimes.

The Nexus 5 can have battery life that is just as good as, if not better than, the G2. You just have to root it and flash a different kernel. On my N5 I'm running the Cataclysm ROM with Franco's kernel and can easily go a full day with HEAVY usage. If I leave my phone off the charger for the entire night it might go down 1 or 2% over 6-7 hours, depending on how long I sleep.

So far I'm loving this phone.

preciate the feedback my dudes...yeah I'm tired of how Verizon is always so slow with updates and they're always pushing those dam Droid phones down our throats...then I get to see phones like the N5 go to GSM providers while we're left in the cold.

Shimmy you're correct brother...GSM>>>CDMA. T-mobile has matured to the point where they are a viable alternative.

Anyway back on topic but is there a back order on the N5's or are they shipping out immediately?

Then again I'm not sure I'm ready to give up my Note 2 ....I actually sign paperwork with my Note 2 with the stylus saving me the need to have to print sign then scan and email.

Elder it sounds like the note line was made specifically for folks like you brah.. The battery while solid on the N5 the note 2 will run circles around it  and using your stylus to sign stuff. I'd stick with the n2 if I were you and wait for the no4

Note 3 then brah. You won't regret it. It was 2am. I was in bed surfing the Web and I had unplugged my phone in the morning b4 I left to work. The battery is RIDICULOUS. I was watching mad videos too. And still had about 40 percent left.
Towards my last few weeks with the note 2. I was barely getting 8 hours. It would he dying when I get home. With a bit of use. Using my Note 3 and using my Note 2 :smh: egg shaped and heavy.

If you still live in Bryan/College Station T-Mobile isn't a good option. Especially if you have to travel on Highway 6
