All 4 carriers are about the same at this point. You just get more data on t-mobile and Sprint.

What do you use? I have been out of the android game for a while. I have textra now but it keep snizzing and I feel like I'm missing MMS and know my mass texts aren't working right. I can't get down with Google hangouts.

iphone is going to lose that m8 is fire. if apple doesnt make a bigger screen which I doubt because I'm a devolper and build apps and they have not alerted me to change my app over to accomadate the bigger screen

Hangouts is definitely buggy. The one bug that drives me crazy is mms related. When someone sends you more than one picture at a time, when you go to look at them it only shows the first picture of the whole chat. Insane. I've used 8sms and Evolve. Both have their benefits. Evolve is nice and getting nicer all the time. The themes you can download are nice and not overdone. 8sms is nice because I like things to be simple and pure.

Thanks man. I'll try evolve if I don't like it I'll try 8. There are so many SMS apps I've been sifting through.

If I sign up on t-mobile and want unlimited on two phones I'm paying 140 a month for service plus the cost of the phone payments. That's 194.
If want Sprint and want unlimited I'm paying 150.00
If I want ATT I'm paying 150 for 4 GB of Data 160 for 6 GB of data
Verizon's cost is exactly the same as ATT's.
I'm trying to figure out why people think Verizon is more expensive.

Just ordered the M8 for Sprint. Only Gunmetal Grey option, but I like that anyway.

Well, the phone doesn't end up costing too much after $50 rebate & $52 credit for my S3. It's just about $200 after those credits.

Evolve has a nice conversation list that is always present until you open a conversation. If you like tinkering with the look, definitely give Evolve a try. Oh you can also swipe between conversations.

I pay $210/month for 2 smartphones and 1 dummy phone with 6gb of data on VZW.
I can move to AT&T, get 3 smartphones with 10gb of data for $150/month and get a $100 for each line I am opening = $300 credit which would allow me to pay off VZW since I won't have a bill from AT&T for the first month.

When I'm on my android I use 8 it's simple and works fantastic. I haven't had much time with evolve so I can't say much. But I do remember some sluggish feel to it when I used it on the N5. It probably feels a lot better nowadays, I think I used it when they first dropped.

Yeah I have the n5 so a text app is a must. I just got evolve. I like it and the developer def is the type to keep making it better.

Unless I'm missing something you can only get that pricing with ATT if you sign up for Next so add another 70 bucks at least to that monthly cost unless you plan on keeping your old phones.
You can get that exact same pricing with Verizon if you do their Edge plan. 160 is base rate but the monthly cost is less for the phones every month. So if you do 3 decent smartphones your monthly bill actually will be less with Verizon

That was with selling VZW S4 and grabbing a N5 and getting my wife a Moto X and 3rd line a S3. The last one is her sister who never pays her part anyways and doesn't even want a smartphone. My friend work for AT&T and used that pricing program that they have and worked all the numbers for me. Don't think he really did anything special for me.
