Naked browser looks
sick.gif

I installed it a few months ago, opened 1 page, and uninstalled it

I just wasn't feeling the look and layout of it at all.

I hadn't used the Chrome Beta in a while and reinstalled it and I am really liking it so far.

Only thing I wish it had was that it gave you the number counter for how many tabs that you have open. Other that, it is really nice.

You can get VZW to work with Google Wallet, but you have to change some stuff around. I had it on my S4 and Galaxy Nexus when I was on VZW. Of course you must be rooted to get it to work as well.

You guys are spot on about rural America and Corporations keeping VZW in the lead. I was just telling my uncle that the other day when we were talking. He lives out in the sticks and was joking about how I didn't have service out there since I left VZW. I told him nobody does except VZW and that is how they kill people because they have the boonies on lock, lol

I use Google Wallet and the Mastercard all the time, traveling, going out(bars etc). If I ever lose the card, you can just transfer the money back to your account and deactivate it.. youre no worse for wear.

ISIS wallet may need to change their name

ISIS actually changed their name to Islamic State...the joke is that ISIS Wallet was so horrible that they didn't want to be associated with it

But I just did a search and ISIS Wallet may rebrand to the name SoftCard. I guess iTap was taken

Naked is exactly what it is  its just as barebones as you can get. But they've got plenty of nice features I use like night mode is clutch(I'm sure lots of browsers have it) but no bloat no ads and fast I'll take it

Hate to say it....if Apple adopts NFC, we definitely will see widespread adoption of it everywhere. A win for us, but sad that it takes them to jump aboard before everyone else does.

Then to have to hear about how they are "revolutionary" for implementing it as well

I really wish I could do more or utilize my NFC so I welcome Apple getting it but shudder at that revolutionary talk. Appleheads can't wait to brag about things they just got that Android had for quite some time.

Anybody taken a wack at chromebooks yet? I'm considering it for my step son

Chromebooks are great as an internet machine. Not much else, unfortunately. Effectively useless for most without a decent wifi network. If your step son is into tech I'd say get him one anyways, he'll probably figure out how to get Ubtuntu on it within a few months.

On NFC: NO THANKS. I'd never trust NFC because security is left to the software devs and users. The strongest security feature to flaunt is that its short distance. Meaning if you were to keep NFC on all day, it would only take someone standing within an arms length to steal any info they wanted from your device. They wouldn't even have to make physical contact. Pass every time...until security measures are built in.

lol who's fault Android manufactures don't have the clout dudes think they do? Samsung could EASILY spend less on wack commercials and partner with businesses to push NFC, but their too busy releasing 100 troll versions of their yearly Galaxy Phones

haha me and my coworker was just talking about this at lunch. In a year's time they have the note 3, note 4, s4, s4 zoom, s4 active, s5, s5 active, the Galaxy tablets, & like 4 watches :x

EXACTLY, I can't support Samsung just off of how lame they are, they release 100 crappy non flagship devices, terrible marketing, then do lame gimmicky things like the Jay Z MCHG thing. The sad thing is the companies who could do the most for Android can't compete because Samsungs Money is too long. Samsung stays trynna out do Apple and LG stays trying to out do Samsung

Anyone see the Google News and Weather update? I can't believe it finally got updated. But it's getting terrible reviews. Wondering if anyone here has tried it yet.

yuku'd

but I'll take this moment to echo the sentiments above and reiterate my disdain for Samsung. honestly, if they were the only two manufacturers on the market, I would go with Apple in a heartbeat.

Samsung is turning into the poor man's iPhone, releasing the same damn design every year in 25 versions (but at least iPhone has a pleasing design) and, even worse than Apple, pushing dozens of gimmicks while also trying to become as proprietary as Apple.

Thankfully there is the nexus and opo lines so that I may remain pure for all my days and never touch an iPhone.

Yeah it used to be $50. As far as the next big party...there is no next big party going on right now. Besides small changes cellphones haven't had a quantum leap in tech in a few years just small refinements.

when your comparing a iPhone to a android ,o there is another big party

if Apple get a 5 inch screen i be switching again

that is not true although when it first came out it use to be true. you have to enter your pin to even activate the nfc now so it's no way to steal info like years ago

Carver I'm just geeked that I'm getting 5 days free of McDonald's breakfast with the $25 offer. Not even sure how much I'll use it after that to be honest.

people still eat McDonald's? haven't touched that crap in like 8 years. one time I tried it again but throw up because my body had rid itself of that junk and rejected it. I throw up and threw the rest in the trash and said never again
