Dunno about tip with the note 4 but textra messaging client app is very nice :pimp:

Also airdroid is another app that's convenient, can drag and drop files into your phone without needing your USB cable hooked to the pc.

Swiftkey is a good keyboard app if you don't like the stock samsung one. It's predictions :pimp:

If you're a torrenter you can download them too

are these apps free?

Personally I prefer Swype to Swiftkey, but it's up to preference. Both are really good keyboard apps.

I still haven't used Airdroid yet. I've been slacking. :smh:
haven't used swype in a long time I'm sure they've improved since I last used them. I just like swiftkeys predictions

You can swype with swiftkey too. I have been using the Android 5.0 keyboard for a couple days now and I am still liking it.

Sprint has had the update from the manufacturer and is the one reasonable for testing and pushing it out. Samsung already gave sprint the 4.4.4 update.  Either sprint is being slow or they're not dedicating the resources to push it out to our phones.  As customers we have a right to question sprint,  that's what these forums are for. Alot of people are having issues with Bluetooth and other glitches that 4.4.2 has. If not they wouldn't be on here complaining.  Sprint should get off their butts and make sure that it's loyal customers remain happy. We get tired of hearing it's google or its samsung causing the delay.  Sprint has been slipping the past few years and it's starting to get frustrating for its customers. For the record I don't needa rep to reply with more bolony. Just get us this update so we can get better functionality out of our S5.

can you guys elaborate on swiftkey and swype

and what are these predictions you mention? Is that like an auto correct / predicting what you're about to type?

Both apps "learn" as you type, so it will predict your next word. Eventually you'll make a whole sentence by pressing the first few letters of the first word.

They also use crowd sourcing to automatically add new "hot words" as they come about, i.e. twerk, yambs, etc.

you can just basically slide your fingers across the keyboard instead of pressing each letter to form a word

that along with predictive text (the words show up on the top row of the keyboard) makes typing quicker and more efficient

also, an app like swiftkey learns your typing patterns & words you use by skimming your email, facebook and twitter accounts (if you grant it permission)

Can anyone shed some light on the ATT Next plan? Should i do it or just buy the phone outright? ATT claims it would make my bill about $25 less per month on my phone...

You save 25 on the bill, but that 25 is gonna go to your monthly phone payment.

Yea but even when you buy the phone for the $299 upgrade price and stick to the normal plan, they still add a phone payment to your bill. They made it sound like it would be cheaper on Next, even with the phone payment added on

FINALLY my pre-ordered Note is ready to be picked up at Best Buy. getting it in the morning. hopefully they give me a credit or something for this BS

I have a gut feeling carriers will price the 64GB version of the N6 at $100 more than its rumored $200 2 year contract price. Or at least AT&T will.

If they don't offer one to you then you should definitely ask for some sort of compensation. A gift card or something.

Why should they give you a credit again?

Not gonna type the entire story out again, but they told me if I pre ordered the Note I was guaranteed to get it on the 17th and they have been BSing me with all types of different stories ever since

Ahhh I remember now.

Yeah once they offered that $200 I knew they would be on some bull.

Hopefully Samsung cuts me this check no problem
