It should also be mentioned that the main line is the one that doesn't get throttled. The 2nd line does...

Getting used to this Moto X and setting up how I want it. The speed compared to the GNex is obviously insane.

I feel a little overwhelmed  Between adjusting to Lollipop and adjusting to Moto's features and the things the phone can do, I'm getting there

I'm still using my GNex as my primary phone, as soon as I pick it up, it feels tiny. I still feel sentimental about it.. Or like I'm cheating on it with the Moto X

Yup, it's for that. I looked on T-Mobile's website yesterday. It says the 2nd line starts getting throttled at 5gb if I'm not mistaken...

Dont see it anywhere. But I dont think it does. I hope not because they told me when i switched nothing would change and no throttling.

This is totally incorrect. Your data speeds will not get throttled. I think what you have mistaken is the 5gb hotspot which is counted separately from your mobile data.

I have been on the T-Mobile unlimited data plan for a few months now. I rooted my G3 to circumvent the hotspot cap. It shows you on mobile data, instead of hotspot. I average around 25 gigs of data per month. I haven't ever been throttled.

This is what I saw but since it's $10 more, I might have been mistaken...

anyone need an OPO invite? Not sure if its still open to buy or not but I received an email showing that I have some invites.

My N5 is updating to 5.0.1 as we speak. Hope I don't end up regretting

I'll wait for the OPO 2 before I cop my next phone

i updated mine, seems to back at the first 5.0 snappy experience. hopefully it doesn't resort back to being slothful

so I'm stuck when I was trying to flash lollipop on my nexus 4. can't restore, says error. can't flash the zip i dl'ed. thinking that I might have interrupted the transfer of the zip so maybe it's incomplete but it doesn't recognize when I mount from cwm. still trying to figure out how to do it through adb. do I need to download android sdk for it to work?

need help :nerd:

Step 1. Download ADB and Fastboot: http://lifehacker.com/the-easiest-way-to-install-androids-adb-and-fastboot-to-1586992378

Step 2. Find the factory image of your Nexus device (you can download the Lollipop image directly from google here: https://developers.google.com/android/nexus/images )

Step 3: Using ADB, flash the factory image. (There are instructions on the google page above.)

Step 4: ???

Step 5: PROFIT!

welp tried but I don't think USB debugging was on so I can't even push the img file on to the phone since it needs to be approved first.

so I'm guessing my nexus 4 is now bricked since I can't restore it due to having errors in the file and can't flash a new zip to it through what I have in the memory since that too is also having an error.

RIP to my Nexus 4 :smh:

gonna rock a cheap phone until I find a replacement, probably a nokia 635 since it's the cheapest I've seen as far as a replacement phone. windows phone though :x
it's either that or go back to a mytouch 4g.

Download WugFresh Nexus Toolkit..That should be able to help.

How's the quality on VoIP calls for Android? I was always intrigued by the 30 dollar Tmobile plan but I can sneeze and waste 100 minutes, and I'm no heavy talker lol. How do y'all do it?
