kingfoamnyc kingfoamnyc yo, I see that you're on AOSP, is there a navbar option on there?

JayDean03 JayDean03 from what I understand is that there is a option to turn them on by editing certain lines in the build prop. If it doesn't come baked in the ROM settings I'm not using it I'm way too lazy for all that. Dynamik Kat comes with a toggeable nav bar in the settings but of course that's touchwiz and not AOSP

I'm flashing DK right now

Anybody with the nexus 6? And how is it? I've got mine coming in next week.
Pretty happy with it. Only minor issues so far:

- some glitches but nothing major. sounds like there may be a 5.1 update in late January that will address most of it
- battery: I'm getting around 4 hours OST over 24 hours with everything on (full sync, google now on, location reporting, etc), which is plenty for me. Some get 6+ hours OST, others gets ~3. While traveling I got 3 hours OST plus an extra 7 hours of usage with the screen off (phone calls, listening to music). One of the issues I had was an idle drain of ~2% per hour at home, but after fixing my wireless router it's down to ~0.5% per hour. The update may address this too. The savior in all of this is the turbo charging, so you can get nearly a full charge in an hour.

I don't know how much you like to play with your phone, but I unlocked, rooted, removed encryption, installed a recovery, and changed the dpi to 380 (enables tablet mode for apps).

You'll get used to the size within a couple days. No issues with it in my pants. Granted, there are some one-handed maneuvers you may never be able to pull off, but it's worth it for the larger screen.

Are you wearing #NTdenim?

Anyone have a One Plus One invite :nerd:?

brahs,

which is the best program to use to back up your phone? to make a long story short, i will have to get my S4 swapped out for a new one due to a sim card issue. My phone would randomly say, my phone cannot read the sim card and it would just reset. It's been happening since 2 days ago and it's getting annoying.

Any suggestions will help. Thanks :pimp:

Anyone here messing with a smart watch? Thinking about scooping up the LG G Watch R. Moto 360 is beautiful but I'm not feeling that battery life and that black bar at the bottom of the screen.

nope, I don't wear women's jeans. I'm just too used to having big things in my pants I guess.

I assumed NT denim referred to extra-slim jeans. is it the raw denim thing?

if you must know, though, I used to wear Jordan jeans growing up. silver tab baggy jeans every day. i've moved on now to better-fitting clothes.

Had the Moto 360 for a hot sec when I got my N6. While I can only speak for the 360, I'd say wait on it and scoop a 2nd or 3rd generation smart watch when they arrive. I just don't think the smart watch experience is where it needs to be to justify the pricetag. Not saying it can't get there, but it just wasn't worth $250 for me. I returned it after less than a week in favor of my traditional watches.

I'm switching to Tmobile after having ATT since cingular.  Narrowed my options down to Z3, nexus 6, and the Note 4.  Decisions, decisions.

Merry Christmas!

N6 or Z3. The Note just isn't compelling enough for the money they want for it IMO.

I echo all of whywesteppin whywesteppin 's words. It is definitely a great device. When I originally saw that the N6 was going to have a premium price tag, I thought about skipping it all together. Once you have it in hand, you can tell where that extra money went. The camera is much, much better than previous Nexus devices. The overall look and feel of the device make then price tag worth it.

I was split between the Z3 and N6, but I'm definitely glad I went with the N6.
