Is battery life that bad on android these days where u gotta do all this tweaks and stuff?

Excuse my ignorance i been outta android for about a year
yes but no

when there are so many devices that use android asking about the entire OS concerning one detail is like asking do all tall people have bad knees

He was being sarcastic

Those 3 phones will give you plenty of battery life to last through the day with no issues. We're getting close to the s6 and m9 if you're in the market id wait. Or that Asus joint is looking like something serious for the price. Can't wait for it.

Dis liquid smooth on the note 4 :x

Having the Nav bar baked in the ROM which disables the capacative keys :pimp:

You're enjoying a vast selection of ROMS and **** while I'm over here just wanting root so that I can get a real adblocker.

I hate AT&T, man.

 dat TMO Note4 life :pimp:

Also, Foamb, you'll probably average damb near 10hrs OST on SlimROM. I'm in the 7hr range right now at 13%.

Welldamn I didn't really run slim cause it didn't have the option to disable the capacitive keys with the navbar but I might have to go back

OK. From 84% to 0%

My coworker got a xperia 3 off Sony's website.

They're offering $200 cash back when you signs up for a credit card, which has 0% interest for 18 months.

Not sure about balance transfers.

I'd be on it if I needed another interest free card.

Might have to cop two of the Asus phones on release day. This might be "the new nexus" Chances are if it gets good reviews, there'll be a shortage. Might flip one to pay for the other

Dell dropped the "World's Thinnest Tablet" recently with some more than decent stats.

Venue+8+7000+_fullbleed.jpg

For starters, it's the first with Intel's RealSense camera setup, which in this case includes an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with two 720p ancillary ones. The three sensors work together to shoot different variations of a shot, each with a different area of focus. Basically, then, you can go in after the fact and either sharpen or soften the focus on any part of the photo -- yep, just like on a Lytro camera. Also, because these photographs are actually a composite of three different shots, you can easily apply effects to select parts of the picture. Think: sepia for just the bride and groom, with bright colors in the background. (Don't judge me for my tacky taste, OK?) Lastly, an over-the-air update in the coming months will allow you to actually measure items in the photo with an on-screen ruler.

Other than those fancy camera tricks, you should be impressed by the hardware: It's damn gorgeous. With the new Venue 8, Dell combines a pixel-dense 8.4-inch, 2,560 x 1,600 display with a well-made aluminum frame that measures just 6mm thick. To put that in perspective, that's thinner than all of its main competitors -- namely, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3. And, because that screen is an OLED panel, the quality is stunning as well: punchy colors and wide viewing angles, with a strong backlight throughout. What's nice, too, is that Dell was smart enough to price it at $400 -- just low enough to give the Galaxy Tab S and iPad mini 3 a run for their money. Hopefully we'll get to review one of these soon, but if you seriously can't wait for us to weigh in, it's available now, with 16GB of storage (expandable via microSDXC) and either LTE or just WiFi.

Plus China is getting a Moto X Pro with stats such as 6-inch QHD display, 2.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 805, front-facing stereo speakers, a 13-megapixel main camera and a 3,220mAh battery. Like a N6 redo. Haven't seen anything saying that we will get it tho
