Who has Exposed yet? What Modules work/dont work.

No one in the XDA thread is even speaking about such things from the pages that I have read

Some of them should work. GravityBox doesn't yet. Read that the creator will release a barebones version of it ASAP with some features missing.

Just placed the order.

White/White/Gold.

tough decision
that white white gold you posted is flames brah :pimp:

Thanks!

Samsung has already sent out invitations for the company’s press event on March 1st where they will announce their much-anticipated Galaxy S6 flagship. This event will be held in Barcelona as part of MWC (Mobile World Congress) at 6:30pm (local time), and this Korean tech giant is also expected to announce the curved Galaxy S6 Edge handset alongside the Galaxy S6. This device will reportedly sport curves on both sides of the display, unlike the Galaxy Note Edge which is curved only on the right side. It remains to be seen if this will happen in the end, but everything points to the fact that Samsung will launch these two handsets.

That being said, we’ve been getting a lot of leaks and rumors regarding both of these devices recently, which was to be expected. New set of Galaxy S6 renders and schematics  leaked yesterday along with some alleged accessories  for that device. The leaked handset was even compared to the iPhone 6 in the renders and was sporting a protruding camera, which seemed too far-fetched to be true, well… another set of images is here, and it shows that very same handset. This time around though, we get a really sleek and nice set of renders. If you take a look at the gallery below this article, you’ll find a bunch of alleged Galaxy S6 images. These renders will let you see every single side of this device. The device looks sleek, I have to admit, but I just hate protruding cameras and I rarely say that something reminds me of some other device, but this really seems iPhone 6 inspired, though we already knew that from the previous leaks. The device is also pictured next to the iPhone 6, Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy S5, for comparisons sake.

I’d really like to know what you think, do you believe this is the final design of the Galaxy S6, is this the device Samsung will showcase on March 1st? Do you like this design, or not? Let us know what you think in the comments, we’d love to hear from you.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 found to run cooler than the 801
There have been questions raised recently about the TDP of the upcoming Snapdragon 810 chipset, which was apparently high enough to cause Samsung to allegedly drop it out of its upcoming Galaxy S6 smartphone. On the other hand, LG dismissed it as a non-issue.

To put the confusion to rest, STJS Gadgets Portal ran some tests on both the new Snapdragon 810 and the Snapdragon 801 to see how the new chipset compares to what we are already familiar with by now.

The tests compared the skin temperatures, that is the temperature of the surface of the device (which is what matters since that's the part you will be touching) in a 25 degree Celsius room temperature environment. Two tests were ran on the devices, one with Asphalt 8 being played to check gaming performance, and the other where 4K video was recorded on the devices.

In the first test, the device running Snapdragon 810 managed to reach around 40°C while the Snapdragon 801 device was at 45°C. In the second test, the Snapdragon 810 device was once again cooler, hitting 35°C while the Snapdragon 801 device reached around 43°C.

This test does show that the new generation Qualcomm chip is indeed cooler than the 801 in these specific tests on these particular devices in these ambient temperature situations. Of course, when you take into account other use cases, variations in device designs and variations in ambient temperatures, things could change considerably, so it's best to take these results with a pinch of salt.

I won't get your hopes up, but mine got to me a lot quicker than they said it would. I had a longer time like that too, then I got an email saying it was shipped and I was like "Oh... awesome"

Mine was like that too. It shipped in like two days...got to me a few days later. Even when I ordered my hula bumper from Motorola, it said it would arrive mid week next week and it came yesterday.

If that's the new S6 then it's a shameless ripoff of the iPhone 6. Plus it looks like there will not be a user replaceable battery. I may pass on it and just keep my Note 4 for a awhile. These are just smartphones at the end of the day, and there's not much more than can be improved on anyway.

-Removeable Battery

-Expandable Storage

-Giant screen

Three things that will sway a phone purchase for me.

Don't think it looks like an iPhone tbh. They both share the same rounded aluminum sides with plastic lines for the antennas but thats where it ends. The screen is damn near bezel free and the back of the device is 100% glass. Like I said before the edge will be the cutting edge variant and the normal 6 will be for the consumer who's not yet ready to leave the norm.

Also include speaker placement, which are the same as da 6. They straight jacked da i6 but I ain't eem mad. Hopefully this will do numbers.

After not having a removable battery for the past year with the N5, its a deal breaker for me too. Dont even care about expandable storage, but the battery has to be on point

Anybody here heard of this? Just saw it on the news yesterday.

Any note 4 owner tried that speaker mod which makes the speaker on the front use audio? Sort of like the nexus 6?

I wanna try it out
