I was looking forward to replacing my S4 with the S6, but with no removable battery and storage expansion I might have to look at something else.

I like replacing the battery on my phone every 6-8 months, feels like a new phone. Anyone else out there like having the removable battery option?

I like it but it's not a deal breaker.

If I had to keep a phone 2 years I couldn't do it.

I've had my Nexus 4 for 2.5 years now. You guys will be alright.

I do miss being able to swap batteries and go from 0% battery life to 100% in 5 seconds though. The fast charge capabilities with the current gen of phones should help.

HTC M9 camera is looking better and better.

I read this quote on XDA:
"HTC tells me that it's pushing out updates to the One M9 on a daily basis and 95 percent of their content is camera-related." hence why that guy at MWC who was reviewing the M9 in his room hours after the keynote had an OTA update already. im getting excited for this phone again. if the camera is fixed everything else should be gravy :smokin

Well they did say the software wasn't the final version so I still have hope. It's not like the hardware sucks.

MKBHD will say the M9 is his "phone of the year" like he does every year regardless of its shortcomings.

The battery isn't a deal breaker for me.

The SD slot is.

Dudes really won't buy a phone over not being able to replace the battery? I have had phone where I can and cannot change the battery and have never changed it. Never noticed a real issue....then again, it could be that I have a couple phones a year, so I never really notice the battery degradation problem

Side Note: eBay/NewEgg is selling the 32GB Surface Pro Tablet 2 for $199 (refurbished but still a pretty nice deal). Telling myself not to buy myself, lol

Well the M9, M8, and M7 are good phones. So someone is bound to favor them over what you prefer. You could just as easily say that the S6 has shortcomings because it dropped the SD expansion, water-proof chassis, and back cover.

700

200gb microsd coming this year

Does that mean cheaper 128gb microsd some time this year too?

I don't see what makes the galaxy s6 so iphone-like i n everyone's eyes. Sure it has a curved aluminum frame, but other than that? The speaker?

The frame is pretty much the biggest change on the iPhone 6 from the 5 so I see it as a fair topic to bring up.

Keyboard is identical, metal trim is pretty much the same, the fingerprint sensor, antenna......

I'm probably still gonna cop anyway :wow:
