Is T-Mobile worth it in NYC? Thinking of switching from AT&T to T-Mobile.

Held a S6 edge today and I like it a lot.

Being that you guys were debating carriers today, this picture popped up on my feed today, so I had to share it

Yeah I tried both at a local T-Mobile today.

Both phones are comfortable to hold IMO, the edge just stands out. I didn't think to use the edge features but swiping from the sides feels great. I think the edge looks better but thats opinion based so I would say go into a store and use both. Carriers should be getting them tomorrow if not already.

The gorilla glass on the front and back seem sturdy & I think it could handle a fall from a decent height(the camera glass is another story). Camera is dope, autofocus is snappy(Nexus autofocus is a POS) and images look great in well lit areas.

Regardless of which one you get the screen is amazing, it blows my Nexus 6 out of the water. I didn't believe reviewers when they said the screen is amazing but it really is.

T-Mobile is getting black and white and gold in april. Green is nowhere to be found.

Used the phone today at work. Straight piff. Its truly a iphone with android which is fine with me.
Theyre gonna get sued so bad.
The edge looks smaller because of the curving screens its weird. But cant wait. To scoop it up. :pimp:

We will have Gold but it is not available for preorder.

Based on what?

I work for a carrier and the map on the consumer website is different than the real one tech support has.

I can tell you that first hand.

The map that is on T-Mobiles website is near identical to what it seen in our customer care and tech care centers. Only difference is we have access to tower locations and types and new tower sites that are either planned or already built and about to launch. Also can toggle between signal type etc. and of course file trouble tickets. Sometimes our tech maps can't even keep up with the new LTE sites being put in. For example I live in Oregon, lots of wilderness areas and **** and I am getting LTE in places I haven't even had signal before and our maps we have access to don't show as it having been launched yet, which of course it has.

After all this hoopla.....I'm strongly considering getting a refurbed M8

I'm not sure I'm ready to spend $750 on something that can be lost or broken so easily
Same boat. I expect the OP2 to raise their price but hopefully by not too much. 400-450 range and instacop...

Tmobile is no doubt the fastest, they have that track record.  They also have a track record of having spotty coverage in rural areas, and in buildings sometimes.  Guess that'll hold me off joining Team Magenta for now.   After reading everyones response, and asking around, their coverage in rural areas is what got me.  People say when they drive past the mountains/rural areas they get little to no coverage.  Cant risk that on the mountains haha.   I might move to ATT's little brother, Cricket Wireless, to save some loot.   Time to let go of that granfathered unlimited data plan lol.    Thanks for the responses though fellas.

Anyone know how much I can sell an AT&T Note Edge for? I'm looking to switch to OPO. I can't take all the bloatware from AT&T and Samsung.

Dont do that to yourself. They piggy back of their network.
Get a line and try it before you ditch it cause youll regret.
I was referring to cricket btw.

Dudes love using Speedtest.

Show me you can make a call at rush hour or when a Mavs game lets out.

Like yall do get T-Mobile is only doing all this to get bought right?

In a year or two yall gonna be ATT, Verizon or some amalgamation of Sprint and T-Mobile customers and that company isn't going to be trying to lose 400Ms a year.
