I was using my S6E alongside my fam's iPhone and noticed this.

At max brightness, the S6E is significantly dimmer and less colour-true than the i6. I was viewing pure-white images, and yet the S6E is displaying a red hue.

The LED on the back of the i6 shines white, the S6E was significantly dimmer (didn't show up in the pictures that way though) and also incandescent yellow.

I honestly REALLY want to like this S6E, and it's getting harder and harder to do so.

Interesting

Man, I haven't upgraded since I copped the galaxy s3....when it first released. I'm a little impatient at this point. The battery is worthless and at this point, anything will be an improvement.

I was in the same boat as you but my s3 still doing work but i just switched to the S6E and I'm loving it.

Is tmobile your carrier?
How much did the S6E cost you? (if you dont mind me asking)

I just scored 2 Moto 360s at Best Buy (in-store only). Here's how to score the deal of a century!

Original sale price is currently $179
Price match the Google play store at $165 (this $15 pm may be YMMV based on some people's experience)
Buy a cheap android phone on the same transaction (I got a T-Mobile ZTE Zinger for $20 price matching at Walmart.com) this takes $100 off instantly at checkout or a net savings of $80.

FINAL PRICE $85!

If you are a student with a .edu email address you can enroll your email and get an additional $25 off! (Search best buy .edu offer to enroll)

FINAL PRICE $60 (for students)

Side note: both Best Buys that I Went to were willing to price match Google play but once the other discounts were applied it booted the $15 discount from pm Google play. Just point out that the math isn't adding up and the pm must have been kicked and ask them to take the $15 back off. It worked for me!

Second side note: sell the phones! I sold the 2 phones for $50. This landed my total out the door price at $90 for 2 Moto 360s!

I referenced information from the posts of Woosh and alex44 AND the comments of the threads to compile all of this information for the most complete and simple explanation to maximize the deal

Gonna try this after work. I have an .edu address so I'm gonna try to get it for $60.

I was just about to come in here and ask about that watch and if anyone has it. Probably will attempt the same.

Lete know if it does, I have an .edu email too. Could be crazy if it does

I dont have an edu email that works still but the difference between 85 and 65 is marginal to me for that kind of deal. I just want to know what you guys think of the watch itself.

I seen the whole thread blow up on SD but ultimately passed on it. Dealing with cashiers who might not know how to handle the transaction (price matches for watch and phone, overriding coupons that shouldn't double dip and won't scan etc) and possibly being denied savings by higher ups for a dated product that I don't really need wasn't worth the time for me given the below average battery life

I did have the edu and movers coupon ready to go though lol.

So the M9+ is gonna have the same battery as the M9 to push a finger print scanner AND a 2K screen? If the battery on the M9 wasn't terrible already.

And unless MediaTek did something to allow quick charging, that M9+ is gonna suck with battery life
As convenient as quick charging is, I'm finding myself reluctant to use it on my phones. Considering most of them don't have a removable battery and QC ruins your battery's life quicker than normal charge speeds, can't bring myself to really want to plug it in for a speedy charge.

Wait does it really? The Note 4 came with a quick charger in the box. I'll turn that off in a heartbeat if thats the case.

Can you explain why QC is bad for your battery? I myself have never used QC but have heard nothing but good things.

all the research ive done has come back disproving that quick charging is bad for batteries. they all said its a myth thats not true.

I bought one after I saw that it was on sale. Coming from a base Pebble, it feels like a more premium product (i.e. better build quality). However, from a functionality standpoint it is quite similar. IMO, there arent too many added benefits from having a smart watch. It a product thats nice to have and a "cool" conversation starter but provides nothing new that I already can't do with my phone.

Was thinking of grabbing a smart watch myself with all these deals floating around, but I can't justify it, even if it is $65-80.

They're saying on slickdeals that best buys are locking down that smart watch deal by not price matching their own site or google

I read that too. I'm heading there now to give it a shot and see if I can catch somebody slipping

I've said it many times before: cause being tethered to a cable sucks.

Fast charge helps and external batteries are fairly convenient, but it can't replace the satisfaction of replacing a completely dead battery to getting 100% in 5 seconds.
yea but really there are chargers and outlets everywhere that your phone should always have a charge. You can fully charge your phone just going to work

It seems if you have a spare battery then you wouldnt worry about charging it because you can just replace the battery

I never seen so many people talk about dead batteries these days especially if you drive a car

Because batteries degrade overtime. Of you're switching phone every 6 months, then yeah it doesn't matter, but if you plan on keeping it 9 months+ you'll want a new battery.
I never heard of this problem. and even if it does then your phone have a warranty. Get a fresh phone replacement.

Technically Best  Buy is not suppose to price match google. Its not listed as one of their approved price matching stores
