Not sure the G4 will fit the quality construction and audio output bills. Small rear speaker and plastic edges. Everything else is spot on.

My bad if I used the wrong vernacular, I mean audio output as far as how it will sound with headphones.

Not a deal breaker in any phone but it is something I value.

Then yeah, the G4 will be piff. It'll also depend on what size of phone you like. S6 is 5.1, G4 is 5.5. G4 is also slightly curved, so keep that in mind.

N5 concept art. :nerd:

The G4 didn't even have dual facing speakers or built-in wireless charging. Would be weird for the Nexus to get it when LG didn't use it on their own flagship. Also, USB C? It'd be like the only device out rn to use a USB to USB C cable, I'm sure that'll be good move

It's just a fan concept...

I know, I'm just saying. Dude tryna be realistic and throw in the SD808 and stuff and then goes off on a wild tangent. Kinda nonsensical with the specs, even if its fictional.

The only one out thus far. Like it or not, USB-C will become the standard. Midaswell do it sooner rather than later.

On a side note, I really hope it isn't named the Nexus 5. There's already a phone called the Nexus 5. I don't want the Moto X thing to become a trend.

Google's Messenger app now allows you to reply directly from the notification. Yeah I know welcome to 2013. Darn TouchWiz #sarcasm

Looking at a new phone possible.  Ned more battery life.  Currently rocking a Nexus 5.

Between G3, Nexus 6 and Note 4.. What are we are looking at?

I would think the Note 4 wins easily.

Word. I went from n5 to note 4 and battery life was night and day.
Software was a downgrade tho.

Meh, feel like most if not all flagships fit this description.

LOL!! There needs to be a new category of Stan...the "pure" "vanilla" "stock" android stans. Dudes caping for Vaniila like they getting paid by Google directly.

Let's call it for what it is, overated, over-hyped, and over stanned. When in reality it's a pretty decent alternative but that's it. Ok so it gets updates faster, definitely a strong point but not the end all be all that makes it superior.

Dudes have admitted in here that going Vanilla made them lose a few features that they appreciated on their skinned phones...and a lot of dudes constantly swith back and forth.

Then dudes talk so much crap about skinned phones yet buy them anyway. I'm still not convinced dudes made their own mind up about this. It's like once the tech blogs (not true tech journalism btw...just a bunch of extremely biased hipsters), started talking about pure vanilla then everybody started repeating their sentiments.

The reality is the Nexus line will never be truly dominant in the Android world, even if it's distribution wasn't limited...and that's because they are not superior devices. You'll always be left wanting more...and that's why dudes stay switching from them.

Only reason I go back to touchwiz honestly is because the battery life and stock camera app optimization. Nothing else. If vanilla androids battery life and camera app didn't completely suck balls I would never be on touchwiz ever again.

The same can be said for every flavor of Android. One thing you have to keep in mind is that the Nexus line was never meant to be a dominant phone line. Google created the Nexus line for the sole purpose of providing a vanilla Android experience that showcases new hardware and software features.

You're comparing phones that, since their inception, have had different purposes. Why are you so mad bruh?

I'm not mad my dude, contrary to internet opinion, one can make a point without being mad. I know why Nexus was introduced...heck I bought the first one outright no contract (which was the only way you could do it), but somewhere along the line it's purpose became misrepresented by a very small subset of consumer...the so called tech heads

You don't go on a rant like that without feeling some type of way,

But I feel the same way about the tech blogs and techheads. XDA has changed so much since the Nexus 1. I loved that phone. Android has come a lonnng way since Froyo.
