My girl has a Verizon work phone (iPhone 5) and her personal phone on T-Mobile (S5).

Her T-Mobile phone has coverage in all the places her Verizon phone has coverage. Been all over DC and Atlanta. They also don't have coverage in the same places too

T-Mobile >>>>>> , that $30 plan is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time

Except at the barbershop, my signal in there is atrocious :smh:

I remember at an old job people were bragging about 'only' having x amount of dropped calls or dead spots. I was like... 'what's a dead spot? Vzw ftw'.

I've been a Verizon supporter for 6+ years. But T-Mobile is at the point where they can no longer be denied. Solid coverage with amazing deals. Saving $100+ a month and getting more bang for my buck>>>>

netflix on the toilet...i do that.

I get hemorrhoids easy. I can't sit on the toilet for longer than 3 minutes at a time. So if I'm struggling I have to stand up for like 20 seconds every 3 minutes to even it out.

Sucks man.

I have had 2 hemorrhoid sugeries and I am telling ya'll :smh:

Sit on toilet to watch a half hour show crew.

Need look into T-Mobile but some of my fam goes to ND for work which are on my family plan and there is no service out there...crazy how you go west of Fargo and Verizon is the only carrier that works out there until you get to WA

Anyways...anyone looking at getting the Turing phone :nerd:

On Straight Talk T-Mobile. Service/LTE was fine when I lived in LA. But here at home in SJ - no service unless I'm in specific spots. No service driving up and down to socal either.

Ordered a Net10/ATT sim thats coming in Monday.

Gonna do a plan with my moms and sister, think it's 5 GB LTE, unlim text/call each person for $125.

Most the Note 4 roms had unlimited tethering tweak.

I think there's even an app that will allow you to do it on the playstore.

Congratulations.. :nthat:
I appreciate the support my dude!

Salute Phi :smokin

Much appreciated Nupe..."in every field of human endeavor".

So that I don't muddle up this thread, I'll make a new one where I chronicle everything I've had to do so far to get up and running. For some maybe it will be an interesting read, for some it may influence them to start their own. Unfortunately I'll have to withhold some information because while most everyone in here is cool, there's always one who will do some stuff to try to mess things up.

Worst possible time to switch carriers right now with all the new phones coming out.

My dad broke his iPhone and he needs a new phone. We were planning on switching over to T Mobile regardless but it probably will happen sooner than later.

Problem is, T Mobile requires me to trade in my current iPhone 6 and purchase a new phone in order for activation fees to be waived as well as to cover the early termination fees from Verizon.

Think I'll cop the G4 for now with an even trade from my iPhone 6. Then trade it in for the new Moto X when it comes out in a month. Or perhaps the new Nexus when it comes out in 2-3 months. Or maybe I'll just be content with the G4 and not HAVE to have the newest phone out
