I did not expect the 6P to start at 500... that's fantastic.

For the Nexus 5x and 6p to cost $380 and $500 respectively, there is no reason (aside from the Moto X's price point and SD slot) why anyone should buy a non-Nexus phone this year.

I don't know about that. There's no way these phones will match the S6 or G4's camera quality. No removable battery either. Also I understand USB Type-C needs to be adopted at some point, but it's still a hindrance for most. For enthusiasts like us you may be right, but the average consumer probably won't care.

We still take this into consideration???

Idk, I have a feeling this might be the best Android device yet. Never been a huge fan of the Samsung's, they remind me of poor man's iPhones.

Heads up. If anyone has a Note 5 or S6 Edge+ you should update your Samsung Pay now and you'll get a free wireless charger.

the nexus isn't meant for the average consumer. even some people in this thread have never seen a nexus 6.

I would almost buy a pixel. I need a tablet that runs full-featured professional programs. I think the surface/windows is the only one to do so.

Pixel is rumored to have 3GB of RAM, should be enough to run professional programs like Microsoft Office, but idk if it could handle more intense programs. I tried writing HTML on my 2GB tablet and it was a mess

"we've confirmed that the lack of image stabilization is, in fact, due to the new 1.55µm pixels in the image sensor. Presumably that means that the Nexus 5X will include an extra-dense camera sensor as well."

-Android Police

Looks like Google chose ultra pixels over OIS

LG G4 is the only flagship I can think of that still has a removable battery.

was considering the g4 prior to the release of the new nexus phones. was browsing swappa and had 16 listings for tmo on friday. half of the listings sold on saturday and the remaining phones are back up to $400 or so save one mediocre listing at $360. :smh:

hopefully I'll see an influx of new phones after the announcement tomorrow.

still undecided about which phone to get but my nexus 4 is on it's last legs with random restarts and signal going in and out.

So far everything is looking right on the 6p.

Can't wait to see what it's like when people get their hands on em in this thread.

I'm still waiting on a strong business oriented tablet myself for coding on the go. Been looking at the Surface and Surface Pro but I know an Atom Processor won't get it done regardless of RAM and the price of the Surface Pro 3 makes me consider a Macbook
