Again, I repeat. Why the hell did Nike leave out FSU???? Theirs was one of the best by far.

The dates of those games will be announced at the unveiling of the uniforms Sept. 1 in New York, streaming live on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/usnikefootball) on September 1, 2010, at 10:00 AM Eastern.

i liked FSU's uniforms, as well.

i don't think Nike left them out, most likely they didn't want to participate this season.

Nike started this process a couple years ago. from what i understand, they approach the schools with the idea, and they decide if they're interested.
this is what lead to the introduction of the black uniforms at Oklahoma State. initially coach said he didn't want to participate in the Pro Combat uniforms,
but they liked the design if the uniform enough to add it to the rotation without the Pro Combat elements.

they ended up wearing it during the Thursday night game with Colorado, and at no other time during the season.

this is 3rd hand information, so it could be a little off.

Virginia Tech had my favorites last year.

I'm interested to see what they do with Pitt.

OSUBASS.

The Combat treatment is definitely being asked by the schools rather than Nike approaching them.

i love all the uni's posted so far.

that V tech is amazing.

although i do agree that FSU uni's last year KILLED.............those were so amazing!
can't wait to see the rest.
i really hope they go a totally unique route for Florida.
Boise state is the one who is really getting my attention to see them unveiled.
their Smu cleats from last year were so fresh.

then again it is kinda hard to do a bad colorway on the amazing Zoom Vapors. especially the flywire version.
Nikes Cleated dept kicks %%!...........

Actually spot on.

Also true statement.  Kenzo and Jonothan JohnsonGriffin are doing their thing in design.

Hope all my fellow football folks are doing well.

That is not accurate.

Jeff, for the most part, this is definitely true.
i personally had asked someone because i was curious about the Oregon state treatment.

Rock, when i think of cleated, don't forget what got Nikes cleated dept to what they are now.
and what drove their business greatly. i will throw 1 MAJOR name out there.
E.Scott M....
as well as others along the road.
nothing against the current zoom vapors but the OG design was amazing to this day. and the name i mentioned
i am sure you know who designed that one.
Kenzo is my favorite designer, but in respect to E. and the zoom vapor, all Kenzo did was add flywire and change the swoosh.

i would like to see the Lebron be established more with the cleated department.
yes we've seen the zs1 be put in the cleated form ( baseball?)

but i think the Air Zoom Generation would be a great cleated shoe for speed guys.
the Lebron 2 would be great as well for a person in the speed position.
that one could even be built into a lineman type cleat as well.
let's move onto the lebron 4 i think that would be an awesome lineman cleat.
lebron Vi, would be a great baseball cleat as well as the V. but that's another topic.
and you can make a "story" about those as Nike loves making "storys" about their products and athletes.
example, let's say Lebron decided to go to Ohio State and play football instead of basketball.
BOOOOOM............. you can finish the rest with a story on how they won the national championship
or him winning the heisman his 2nd year, etc...............

ok, im done.
