My first car ever
39-month lease pulled out July 2012
Pic is from August
Plan on getting an SS or an E-class coupe when the lease is up
But who knows plans might change

Got into a small collision last week fml, need a new bumper and fender, insurance said they'll also replace the hood because there were dents/scratches

Dual exhaust from another company won't kill your warranty.

Warranties can only be voided if the manufacturer can prove part x, y z caused such and such to fail.

This is so not true. Ive seen many people loose their entire warranty because they simply lowered or lifted their car.

If your warranty is of any importance to you, do not listen to this man. Talk to your dealer before you do any mods because fine print varies. Some Warrantys allow basic reversible bolt ons, while others prohibit ANY kind of aftermarket parts or modifications under any circumstances.

I can promise you converting your exhaust to true duals WILL most likely void your warranty(the additional o2 flow will also be likely to activate your SES light without a proper tune).

You sure about that, bro? The Magnuson Moss warranty act prevents a dealership from voiding your warranty due to modifications. The dealership has to show that the modification is the cause of the issue in order to deny a warranty claim. So they can't say no to fixing engine failure because you got aftermarket wheels. But they can deny your claim on a blown motor if you've had your ECU tuned.

Best advice would be to ask your dealer (or wherever you're taking the car for service) if they are mod friendly. I've seen dealers who take cars that have built motors and run warranty repairs, and I've seen dealers who won't even touch a car if it has something simple like an intake on it. Even with the new(ish) law, some dealerships will fight you the whole way, and it's not worth the trouble unless you really have nowhere else to go.

Dealers deny claims everyday 'cus they know the consumer isn't going contact a lawyer regarding the issue. It's a classic case of getting over on the uninformed.

Audi WILL void my warranty. They are flagging cars left and right. My suspension warranty is already killed due to lowering. Anything other than stasis parts installed by Audi techs is basically forbidden.

QFT.

That maguson moss act is all good and everything but you will have to go to court. Most people wont go through with it.

Speak with you dealer before you do anything.

And if you dont care, well go ahead and mod away!
