\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I've never had a problem with them, people will complain about anything

It's like the chain smoker telling you Red Bull is bad for you

yea, I`m like they are cheap and there are more of them than there are full service car wash centers. And I`d had to take time out my day to get my car wash and have a bird poop on my whip right after, while every time I fill up gas I can get my car wash right quick

There's a $4 spot by me and I take my cars there all the time for a quick wash

The machines scratch the paint and doesn't clean the car completely(leaves dirty spots).
Then again im picky about how clean my car is, so when it's washed it has to be spotless.

im picky but theres a car wash thats a big ol machine that you go through and then they vacuum and damp rag the interior also clean windows in n out and clean it decent ill say 7/10 , 8/10 on a good day its only 12 bucks b people mistake a wash with a detail

I like self service ones better, and if you go in knowing what you're doing (for the timed ones) it'll come out to like 4 or 5 bucks.

I'm also a fan of the ones where you actually leave your car and get serviced too

I'd only do automated car washes in the winter.

I've had birds poop on my car, take it to an automated car wash and, the poop wasn't even fully cleaned off.

Wifey copped a 3.5 SL fully loaded and joned the Nissan family with me. :smokin

I got my headlights done since I last posted. Got them painted to get rid of the chrome in them and added halos. Also put the new 2012-2013 grill and painted it gloss black. Had the chrome trim around the doors covered with gloss black also I have the front lip on order and should be here in a week.

Maserati is not that great of a car. Poor mans ferrai all it has is the sound. IMO bad build quality. Look up cambrio corsa and quarttraporte.

Aston Martin rapide is perfect tho. If I had a family I would def get one

Yeah the maserati waw the odd man in the equation . I leaning more towards the Porsche
But don't know if I should get the 911 all black edition ( limited run ) or get the panamera 4 white with black interior. The Rapide is still a possibility but would rather get a db9. Selling my escalade and giving my Beamer to my lil sis

Those the Vossen CV3s wheels you have there?

This stuff is the truth. Granted, the amount of time it takes to do the detailing will probably turn away most people but if you're into keeping your car looking :nthat: this stuff does work.

The full detail job (about a 4-6 hour job) will be good for about 6 months and then I just go over to my friend's house who has the entire kit to wash the car every other week or so.

Ignore the Australian ad  it was only pic I could find on Google that showed the entire kit.

You mind me asking how much you paid for them? Heard they're an expensive set of wheels and that's not including new tires either.

Vossens are no joke.....are those 20s?

Minimum 3k just for those wheels without tires I'm gonna take a guess. CV3s are very popular also.

911 will always be more prestigious. Panamaras are the new hot thing, however I feel the Audi A7 S is designed better when speaking of a 4dr.

The DB9 is a beast. Lol you will only get like 8 miles to the gallon and it is challenging to see over the engine bonette because the v12 is so big. What you may really like is its ability to let loose. You can get that car to drift with ease, go luck controlling it tho lol.

I saw Vossens at this Rent to Own wheel place by the crib. They are a wrap in my books. Now every Nissan Altima and Honda Accord in SoCal will have them on.

Ready to go drink

yeah they remind me of magnums and cts sports wagon which i never been a fan of. Just thinking in long terms since this would be my first big pick up automobile wise and it would be my everyday driver even though i would only drive it 9 days a month max and take it from texas to atl once a year . gold st what do recommend with a 100k budget , single dude, no kids , late 20's, in south texas ?

Definitely stay away from rent to own spots if all possible. I have a shop that I go to for over 5 years and they take care of me. I got the 20s wrapped in Falken 452s and eibach springs bought and installed for about $3200. He didn't realize the deal himself until we were finishing up, but stuck to it and just asked me not to advertise that price because nobody else could get it, lol.

I have seen him quote $3200-3300 for CV1s/3s with tires (normally Falkens or Continentals).

The new Accord is loaded but I still prefer the TSX for looks

i think the current TL looks better than the TSX. the front of the TL is a major improvement over the last gen bird beak bs. the rear is still w.e to me..the trunk space will have you walking out the door tho. the current line of G sedans are clean imo, id have no problem rolling in a g37s with 6MT.

sidenote..

acura vs honda has been iffy as of late. the features offered in honda, as well as the subpar design of acura (compared to other luxury like bmw or audi) make acura pointless these days, especially at the price difference.
