\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

attempt #1 at wrapping my car. I tried to do the hood (started on the left side, but got impatient as I tried moving to the right). gave up on getting rid of all the air bubbles after about an hour (looked a lot worse before). gonna try it again after I get my service done next week. i'll fully detail it on the outside and just keep it in the garage until it's done. i'm thinking I can knock out 1 or 2 panels a day and have it ready in about a week after I start. I realized I just need one extra set of hands to help me get the vinyl on the car the right way. after that, getting the air bubbles out should be a lot less tedious.

the eventual goal is to have it looking like this:

if I can't get the wrap to look right myself, i'm just going to take it to my dealer who said they'd do it for $2,000 since I already bought all the vinyl. they usually charge $4,000 so not a bad good deal considering the vinyl only cost $500.

Why have your dealer wrap it?

Go to a place that does this all day... That's who your dealer is going to have do it.

Hey man, thanks! You have a code red SER right? As much as I love the G (6MT model is pretty :smokin), still miss the SER, hopefully it's in good hands

Finally got tints, no more fishbowl

That's cool. Yeah I had an SER got totaled back in Nov. Got a 09 Maxima. Like you still miss the SER.

I wish they made the chally ralleye wit the hemi... Considering getting the ralleye and swapping motors. Has potential to be much cheaper than buyin the hemi and wheels and customizing interior

I'm not even going to lie. I been thinking the same thing lately.

Once I get rid of this commander I plan on that or just copping the srt. Then ill just need to cop a DD or a bike cuz I can't have 2 srt8 as DD

well yeah. my service manager gave me their number and that's who I ended up talking to directly. said turn around time would be 2-3 days. I've learned so much about cars since I got this and I've tried to do almost all my work myself so I'm really hoping I can wrap it myself too. I think it'll take a little time to get the process down correctly, but after that I should be good.

Hamptons for the weekend. What y'all know about that money green vert Benz I rented. vol paid in full

Once you cop a srt8 or hemi you'll never go back.

I think I'm going to kill myself one of these days on the FDR. The pick up on the srt is no joke

you're gonna kill your tires first, FDR got some mean potholes...its like rally racing in the third world. with low profile tires.

what are the benefits of wrapping in the first place, ive never heard of this practice. :nerd: :nerd:

you guys are crazy. any place will charge you around 2k for a whole car wrap.

if it were cheap as hell, everyone would be doing it including me. ive seen where to buy the vinyl if there was a place to do it for dirt cheap i would have done mine already.

I was thinkin the same........lol. if you guys know where to get a car wrapped for 1k hit the inbox asap lol.

and by 2k i mean a simple car. the more lines, curves, edges, and etc the more its gonna cost.

i forgot his name but dude with the G-wagon ended up paying like 4 or 5k for his wrap
