300 hp? Nope.

That puts the msrp of the car over 30k n thats not a market they can or will try to compete in.

270-280 with the kia. Honda. Accord etc is about what theyll squeeze out of the 4 banger to keep the price competitive.

That being said.. I didnt know they alrdy decided to only make 500... that may give them incentive to take a small hit n market the exclusivity n tacky blue leather.

I mean really... no ninja but if ur spendin 30 racks on an automobile your not starting the search with 4 cylinder vehicles

where did you get the info about the SRT Dart? ive been hoping for them to make one even though i doubt id buy it :lol:

i think they would hit 300 on the dot, they would have to.

wont get that much cheaper on used ones, they hold their value especially those who love the old school design.

im 99% sure they wont do anything to the exterior because thats why its a popular car and remained un changed for so long because its a very unique old school look. Im sure a ton of other challenger/mopar heads would agree that the design should remain un toucher.

the interior is what sucks since they havent even updated to what they have in the new chargers/300/jeeps but its been confirmed that they will add the 8.4 screen so that means it will get a new dash finally and most likely new gauages instead of the stupid ugly old as hell white ones they use.

interior will finally be nice

The cars been rumored for like almost 9 months and they wont confirm the engine because they understand their initial claims of a 300 hp 4 banger for under 30k is hardly thesible with all the gizmos&gadgets inside. Think about it... its been shown n shows etc and u cant confirm an engine platform that was alrdy supposed to be out... like i said I bet its around 280hp n 29k
 
You dudes need stop worrying about HP figures and worry more about 1/4 & 0-60

What's 300 hp if it's gonna do high 15's in the quarter?

Quick funny/cool story bros...

I'm back home for the weekend and saw one of my patnas at the mall who has a new Challenger. He didn't know I have an SRT Charger and was talkin all kind of **** about racing when I told him I had a Charger. I didn't mention SRT or anything though. He talkin bout "It's outside right now, we can go now if you want." I was like "**** I ain't scared, let's go."

He pulls around and it's clean as hell but I see it's an R/T. You already know the look I had on my face. :evil:

We pull up beside each other at the light and get to having a Mitch/Dame **** talking session. I tell him "Bruh yo car is the same weight as mine and you got a fat ***** in your passenger seat. What you got on the dash, 140? I'm bout to pull some car lengths on your ***." :lol:

He hit me with the "That heavy *** car. I'll see you next time you're in town!" Like he REALLY thought he was bout to smash me in the R/T. Kinda made me think "Shoot he must have something under the hood if he talking hot **** like that."

We hit the freeway, get to 50 and let em go. Maaaaan when I tell you my baby got GHOST on that boy. Was the funniest thing too cuz we were on speaker phone and he was screaming "Slow down! There go the police!" Man we died laughing. Needless to say he gave the 6.4 its props.

I ain't gonna lie though, his R/T had a lil go. Just not enough. Moral of the story...if you get an R/T Challenger, unless you got some work under the hood, don't try to race an SRT anything. It's just as heavy as an SRT Charger but with a smaller engine. You do the math.

Just so we clear, THIS IS NOT A BRAGGING post. I know my car is big and heavy and a lot of cars domestic and foreign would let me have it. I still love her though and just thought I'd lighten the mood a bit.

BTW that GTR is a MONSTER. I love American muscle but if I had to choose that or the ZL1, it wouldn't even be a hard decision.

of course you cant put a 5.7 next to a 6.4 :lol:

6.4 chally and 6.4 charger sure, but hell they both so much and pretty close to the same :x

they really need to reduce the weight on the 2015 challenger :smh: :smh: :smh:

I need to replace two wheels and tires ASAP.

I want the machine/ black vipers but in a staggered fit they are back ordered 4 weeks and I don't wanna wait.

The 22 x 9 are ready now.
 
Hopefully in the next couple of months. Lots of leftover 2013's on dealerships right now and the 2014's come out in a month so hopefully dealers want to move the 2013's. We'll see.

Are the 22x9's the fronts or rears?

If they're the rears then you'll have some difficulties trying to fit them in the front. Should be OK if you're stock height.

If they're the fronts then they will most likely look ugly in the rear since it wont fill the fenders (width wise) You'll need a spacer to make up the difference.

Btw, I agree with mondaynightraw, It won't look too good on stock height!
