Or what u paid for.

Enzo owners for example....

I'm pretty sure Enzo owners ain't sweating it and own more than one whip. For all the problems that car has I'm pretty sure they easily offload that car and not take a big hit obviously selling it through a private sale would be ideal because Ferrari dealerships or the worst when I comes to selling it back to them

You keep naming niche cars, though.

I don't think anyone buys a challenger thinking they'll get what they paid for..or more.

And if you did..you're an idiot.

Those are cars that depreciate da LEAST w/ a hemi.

And if u keep it long enough it will sell for MORE

Then what u paid for...

Stop getting mad that im checkin on on your broad

*** statements about car depreciation.

Ehh they depreciate slower than most decent interest rates.

If you buy one for say 30K at 0-5% interest in two or three years you are going to owe a lot less than the car is worth.

You can't say that for the average new car especially when it comes to "luxury cars" you are pretty much guaranteed to be upside on a car loan even at 0% interest.

The average person ain't getting 0% percent interest either.

Its not an investment but the real cost of ownership is something all of us need to consider when buying a car. Unless you got Gold St money.

Oh we making rules now  @ not a old school

U already conceded defeat saying that.

Ughh, the last couple pages of stupid comparisons

Comparing used luxury cars to new cars. Everybody knows you can get a used S Class/7-Series with over 100,000 miles on it for cheap.

Comparing aftermarket modded cars to stock cars. Everybody knows you can buy a Civic and put $30,000 into it to make it faster than a Corvette.

Let's keep it to used cars vs used cars and stock cars vs stock cars.

Meanwhile da evo handles WORSE then da ZL1

And has a slower track time stock vs stock.

Go hit da books...u finished out here.
Your comparing handling by track times of a car that has almost 300hp more
And have the nerve to say a RWD V8 has better handling that an AWD ralley car

You're a troll son

Power train ≠ suspension schmuck.

Da evo X has modified McPherson struts up front

Double wishbone magnetic ride suspension in

Da camaro ZL1. U a car dunce.

magnetorheological dampeners..go google

What company da ZL1 shares who use that type

Of suspension...

Just to answer it, Ferrari... Audi, Acura, Buick and Holden use it as well

Da ZL1 comes STANDARD with magnetorheological

Suspension, 20 inch forged aluminum wheels,

Good year supercar tires, a 6.2 liter aluminum super

Charged engine with a eaton blower, HEAVY duty

6l90 automatic or 6 speed manual tremec

transmission, performance traction management

And 15 inch brembos...da car goes around da ring

In 7:41...go find a cheaper capable car thats da same

Price that does da same...

American car bias in here is disgusting & atrocious.

Even if you bought an American muscle car in the 60's or 70's, kept it stock, stored it, and got lucky that its actually a highly sought after model now, it would still be one of the worst investments possible. If you had the money to just buy a car outright, and not drive it...... why would anybody do that, you realize after inflation, storage space, and upkeep you'd still be taking a loss? Just makes no sense.

Perhaps, but thats just moving da goal posts..

Da original question was do cars appreciate in value

And da answer is yes some of them do.

Nobody buys a car with that intent, lets be real. Buying a new car with the intent to make money on it has to be one of the dumbest things someone could do.

But if you actually use the car to get from A to B, you lose less value with a hemi than you would with most anything else. So it being an asset that depreciates less than other equivalent assets makes it a "good investment" per se

The depreciation didnt really play a role in my decision to cop the 392, but being able to depend on it's value staying strong is def a huge bonus IMO
