I use Meguiars Hot Shine (aerosol can version) for my tires.

I spray on, go ahead finish quick detailing the rest of the exterior and interior and come to do the wheels first, then take a dirty microfiber that I'm about to throw out anyways and wipe around the tire twice. This way gets rid of any sling and your tires will be looking nice and shiny.

F that spray bs, gel is the way to go.

This guys stuff is pretty good and isn't harmful to your tires. Not all tire shine is created equally. A little pricy but worth it imo.

I had a little detailing business myself back in 2001 till I sold it in 07.

Their is a vendor that's at the Houston Auto Show that had an aresole spray that was fire. It was clean to the touch right after applied so I didn't have worry about dirt sticking to it, like with the gel. It didn't fling all over my car when driven. Only thing I hated is the fact that it was expensive. It was in a big can that wasn't even half way full.

Ive used the gels and they literally never lasted longer than the time it took to apply the next wheel. I had to use entirely to much and it flung all over my car.

Dont mod a crosstour, not the kind of car to mod, it will only look good if you heavily mod it. If you get the car for utility (daughter) then dropping it will kill the utility a bit.

hate the spray crap especially the way it smells and gets on my hands :x

need something for spring/summer that lasts long and keeps the tires looking clean as nice
 
actually now that some of the guys have mentioned it...I think the gel does fling into the car. I always noticed stuff on my Benz after I washed it and then drove it, but I figured it was road debris because the car had so much torque or something lol.

I used the black magic tire shine gel though.
 
TLX looks nice but it literally looks like a bigger ILX with fancier headlights and front end.

This gen TSX is nice, the TL is meh, older body TL is GOAT. Honda has a hit with the current Accord but what are they doing with the Acura sedans? :smh:

What do you mean by heavily modding it? I plan on dropping a little bit more or clearing the wheel gap because the gap is huge and ugly!
 
But that defeats the purpose of utility. If you wanted a car to mod, you woudnt of gotten a Crosstour to begin with fam. Not knocking on the car, but CT's are one of those cars where tints and HID's are enough.

Unless you drop it and slap some $$$ rims on it like the CT from last page... but like I said, you really wanna do that having a daughter to lug around?

i'd let my car sit for like a week after washing it sometimes. i'm not sure if the stuff on my car was gel residue, but it's always on the wheel arches so i'm assuming now that it is. not a huge deal. still prefer the gel to the spray.

I see what you're saying, not taking offense to it or nothing. I don't wanna have it totally slammed though. Thinking about it now probably just some rims but that's really it. My driveway is also on a hill, so if I slammed it, it would be scrape city going up my driveway. I'm not looking for any internal performance mods. But I get what you're saying, the height I have now though is actually great because putting her in and taking her out of her car seat is way easier than I had on my Corolla.

But yeah fam, tints and HID's, you could always plasti dip the rims if you really have a slight mod itch. I dont think it would look bad since youre car is black anyways.

Yes. Really? The 13 looks identical to me. I'm not sure if they fit but they do sell 2014 grills for cheap.

How's your car holding up after a year ? Is there anything I should be checking for maintenance wise?
 
Pm about the grille! A family member has a Chrysler dealership, idk what the low is but I'm sure I can atleast get employee pricing

i aint paying that price, i think they want $300+ for the grill. i have employee pricing too which wont help.

there was recently a pretty sure off a 2012 for $50 shipped which i missed :smh: i was gonna plasti dip it anywhere so would have hid all the scratches.

doubt ill find a deal anywhere even close to that for one since they dont make aftermarket SRT grills
