\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

You dudes should be looking at cars you can actually afford. I doubt most of you can afford AMG, M Series, Porsche, etc... I know I can't and I make pretty decent money. On the internet everybody can be a baller though. If you actually had 911 turbo money then you would t be wasting your time on a sneaker forum.

 we cant talk about cars here?

Just cause your can't afford it does not mean nobody else can

how do you assume people on here can't afford a certain car? is there some formula that goes into that discerning process?

Maserati is trash and they arent good looking cars

srs

yes ive seen a million on the road and in person, dont care for em

porsche 911 turbo>>>>>> panamera or any Maserati thats ever been produced.

Nissan GTR (Godzilla) >>>>>>>>>> Porsche 911 turbo

If you only care about speed yes.

But if you care about speed + luxury + comfort, then NO.
if thats what you care about then you probably buy an AMG

meh, to be honest. other than the G wagon, i hate everything Benz is putting out right now. cant front on the interiors. those are amazing but yea i used to be a HUGE Mercedes fan but its been downhill the last 5-6 years

Downhill how? Mercedes' product today crushes what they were putting out 5 years ago. I'd say the 2000's were Mercedes' worst decade and I'm sure the majority would agree with me.

1. Are u even a car guy?

2.Ever heard of grinding and putting yourself in a position to get such cars?

3.Can we admire great vehicles regardless if we can attain them or not?

I.e. "I'm broke and bitter and you should be too ". I wouldn't even pay that any mind. You should know there are quite a few notes who can afford these cars.

referring to design wise, not quality or tech...

not feeling all this curvy stuff. its just blah to me, ive honestly never even cared to look at the newer stuff. went to the auto show the other day, didnt even give a crap about any of the cars. Only thing that caught my eye was the interior on the S63 AMG

i'm obviously a huge mercedes guys, but i'm also not too fond of the curvy/bubbly looks of their upcoming cars. hopefully they grow on me when i see them in person.

Really intrigued by the jeep srt's but they cost almost as much as the new ranges
yeah same base price as the sport at least, but the new sport is a disgrace anyway so...

2014 GC srt > 2014 sport rr

If I was going to drop that much on a sporty SUV it I'd go for the srt anyday

To tell you the truth, RR's (full size, sport, or evoque) really aren't worth all the problems and the maintenance that come with them. When I was still talking my HSE to the stealership (3 years ago ish) I was paying $1K for a simple break job, and that didn't even include new rotors. Now I got a little more space and free time on my hands so I choose the DIY route for easy things like breaks, oil, filters...

This:

Looks (and performs) much better than this:

especially when you compare this year's RRS to last year's

Left is srt, right is the RRS the same price (minus $1k) as the srt

Only thing the RRS has over the srt8 is seating and the ******, but the commandshift is more of a convenience bonus if anything, not really a detrimental deciding factor tho IMO.

The GC srt offers most (if not all) of the luxury options that the RRS does.

If you are deciding between the two, get the Jeep. This is coming from someone who was a huge JLR fan until 2013 when the new full body came out. I'm not a big fan of how Tata Motors is trying to make the SUVs appeal to soccer moms in suburbia and take away the rugged appeal the RRs traditionally had.

The L332s (previous body) had a little modern touch to it which couldn't have been avoided because obviously cars are going to continue to look more "modern", but they still had the off-road looks that the P38 ("what's a 4.0 to a 4.6") had

Maybe I'm a little biased but I think the L332 ( ^ ) was the best RR ever besides the P38

tl;dr - srt jeep > RRS

i assume you will like them, i mean they arent ugly but im not feeling them at all.

even if i had 50 mill in the bank, no that still wouldnt change my stance on them. G63 tho... :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

I gotta say the G63 wagon has to be one of the best wagons out there in terms of all around performance and styling to me. Just slap on a kit with some wheels and there's a sweet ride.

Believe it or not I'm a fan of the newer styled full sized ranges and have owned a 02 full size and currently have a 11 rrsport. Of course supercharged would be the only way to go on the ranges if I decide to get one. I went to a dealership that one of my coworkers cousins is the fleet mgr of and dude was talking $ on everything. Looked at a 13 srt challly and he knocked it down to 37k out the door . Asked about the srt jeeps , had a 09 for 21k and a 14 for 71k but I got trade ins for that. Both jeeps were black but the challly was a little to loud for my taste

There was a white r/t but I think I would do better at spending the extra bread and getting the srt. Also had a Jon varvatos 300c and srt 300 and as much despised the older ones I like these ( damn you Heisenberg )

yeah im not a fan of anything rr 2010 and on except for the sport (until this MY)

that chally is nice man but yeah I get you its not for everybody

if it had a 6 spd manny in it i'd ravish that thing

Dodge / Jeep really knows how to do some marketing and advertising. That Heisenberg 300 is pretty nice, and I can't stand any of the other ones. Hearing the engine towards the finale when he was racing through the ABQ going to his money stash made me shiver I'm telling you

Yeah auto on the challly :smh:. I guess I can hold out a bit longer have to go back to work tomorrow might do a month straight this go around

brah, go do your research on the cars. just cause its a "range" doesn't make it any better than the srt, that's all i can tell you

yeah the l405 is def nice(r) especially the interior but the l494 (the rrs he was comparing to the srt) is not all that nice my man
