\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

I actually work for ADV.1 that's why I asked 8) looks awesome on your car bro! PM me for my email if you want us to post up the pics on our fb/instagram! I actually know that set you have pretty well because we built 3-4 sets of the ADV10 Track Function for C63 fitments.

Is your name sean by any chance lol. Emailed him a few times about the wheels. Definitely going to PM you tomorrow. Have a question about some of the little assembly bolts and if it's possible to buy a like 4 or 5 replacement ones. I'll PM you once I can take pics tomorrow.

been driving it everyday the past week or so, because i cracked a wheel on my other car. forgot just how awful the gas mileage is. luckily, the new wheel should be coming soon for the other car and i won't have to subject this car to anymore bad weather.

Is your car wrapped? Thing looks beautiful.

Anybody know the best way to wash a car? I always end up getting some of those dry spots. :smh:
Isn't too bad but I'd like to have a perfect one.

have you used one of those air blowers to blow out water from behind your mirrors or other crevices?

you guys think using an actual air blower will work? Might have to try this.

I use this product from autozone its meguiars and red. It comes in spray i think its liquid wax or sumtin

Been wanting to wax but I hear you have to do it in the shade, which I don't have.

Yeah u buy the car from carmax and pay extra and can get up to 6 year warranty and they replace i think anything that goes bad on the car. Which is a sweet deal since bmw parts are pricey. Especially if the turbos or high pressure fuel pump go out in the 335i they will replace.

After some research...I saw a bunch of horror stories about the Carmax warranty, and how they didn't honor certain repairs...including some BMW repairs..seems like it covers the major stuff.

These things aren't covered.

"Other normal maintenance services and parts including engine tune-up (includes spark plugs, glow plugs, ignition wires, distributor cap, and rotor), batteries, filters, lubricants or fluids, air conditioning refrigerant, engine coolant, all coolant hoses and accessory drive belt(s), wiper blades, brake pads and shoes, brake rotors and drums, suspension alignment, tires, wheel covers, wheel rims, wheels, wheel balancing, shock absorbers, exhaust system, catalytic converter, manual transmission clutch disc and pressure plate, and clutch throw-out bearing."

Yeah those are normal things but im pretty sure they cover parts that fail abnormally which is what is most costly.
For example the writer on this website called jalopnik bought a land rover from carmax and the air suspension went out and they replaced it thru the warranty

Yeah I think Doug Demuro has like 12k of repairs so far covered by Carmax's warranty, including the air suspension haha

yo, you guys hear about this new law in California where if you're pulled over and the cop finds ANY mod on your car they can impound it?

Nah but im guessing u meant illegal mod

Dont illegally mod ur car bruh

 damn near every mod is already illegal in California
Not really . What mods are illegal?

Loud sound systems, slammed cars, Front window tint, Headlights brighter than OEM, disabling factory DRLs, many exhaust systems and a TON of engine mods on older cars because of smog regulations. CA also has a law that says any engine swaps must be from the same type of car and be the same year or newer, meaning you cant swap in any older engines. Engine swaps also require all factory emissions equipment, which complicates some swaps and makes things like FI to Carb illegal. ( I believe that diesel titled cars are exempt from alot of this, which makes them a very valuable commodity in CA)

My Pilot Super Sports came in yesterday from Tire Rack. Getting them put on Thursday, I'm really excited! Anyone have any experience with these tires? I've driven an E39 M5 with them briefly but didn't push it since it wasn't my car.

By far my favorite tire. Bought a set after hearing everyone on the Benz forum recommend them. 10k mile warranty and my car eats through the rears by about 8k miles so I get them replaced for free.
