\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

dammit. hahaha.

i eventually plan to raise it back up and go back to my before stage. :nerd:

Great idea.

The slammed w/ big wheels & negative camber just screws up the lines of the FRS, just makes it look like an old civic. it's too small for the VIP look.

Anyone in here own/owned a 98-03 BMW 3 series? (Non M3)

i'm looking to upgrade my beater/commuter car to something a little nicer than the Integra i currently have.  The 325/328/330 can all be found for under 5k now.

i'm wondering how reliable they are, if they have any major common problems or anything like that? Any particular year or model i should stay away from?

These cars parts are very expensive which makes maintenance compared to the integra very expensive

I dont own one but it all depends on the mileage and service done. Go to e46fanatics they have alotta info

Here's my X :D Got it last Tues and spent the week seeing what it can do and I'm VERY impressed. Gave it a detail yesterday, it's gonna be a fun summer.

sick man; you aren't missing the power of the FRS though?

Congrats man!

How many miles on it?

You got any plans for it or are you leavin it stock?

Bought a K&N CAI and some Swift springs for now. Just thinking of what wheels to get. I'll probably just get Hyper Black Rota Grids and call it a day for now.

E36 are pretty solid mechanically, good inline sixes that don't have too many major issues.

There are a lot of non-essential electrics that fail though.

Try to get one with as little electronic/computer controlled crap as possible (ex. manual seats, manual transmission etc) and you'll be ok.

You'll want a short shifter kit, the throws of that 5speed are pretty long.

They have a real cable-controlled throttle as opposed to the drive by wire in new cars which is fun. BMW drive by wire sucks.

They are really fun to drive!

All of this.

I HATE drive by wire. Throttle response is so delayed in my e90 compared to my Z3.
