\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Got to drive the 2015 WRX/STi for work on the Canadian launch. Seriously an awesome car. I'd even be content with picking up a WRX instead of the STi. The WRX actually has more torque up to around 4500RPM compared to the STI.

Really considering picking one up next year. Great cars.

Yeah, the STi is meant to be tracked, which is awesome... That's why it's geared how it is.. The WRX is geared more like a normal car..,

Team Gia Lai invaded Ridgehill in Yonkers today. Was chilling in my car after the gym and an Aventador, 458 and GTR (sick rims) passed me, followed by another 458, R8 another 458 and Gallardo.

Asked one of the dudes and Gia Lai is province from Thailand. Dudes are managers of variois nail salons...

But the X's do look dope af, just not for me.
Truth!

Hey so how are you liking the STI so far man? I gotta say that is by far my favorite new STI i have seen. The blue looks awesome and i do like what they have done with the wing on the new STI

It's awesome, bro. The handling is absolutely ridiculous (I'm so used to RWD cars

) I'm still breaking her in so I haven't been able to see her true potential. Soon, though

I already put 200 miles on it

This is a very good feature I love, not sure if the previous STI gen had these. The boost gauge is computerized

My question is, how would this work if I boost it to like 35+ lbs. in the future? The gauge only reads up to 30 or so
That's pretty cool!  Looks like the gauge leaves a mark where your boost peaked?  if so, that's an awesome feature.

As far as your question, i have no idea. Maybe down the road there will be a mod to change the layout of the stock digital boost guage.

Ya, it says peak PSI @17.8 and has a light red arrow marked at that. Can you explain why it does this and how would It help or hurt me? Thank you

Oh, ok thanks. I hope they do.

Since it's a digital display.. I assume whatever tunes that come out for it will also change the display...

That way you can look back and see what your peak boost was so you can see if you are having boost spikes or a possible boost leak if it's not hitting normal peak boost.  Rather than having to intensely watch the gauge at full boost to see what you are hitting

But that only works if it is one that changes every time u boost. Is that red arrow always at 17.8 because that's the stock peak boost and they just wanted to show that on the guage, or does it actually change when u drive and hit boost?

:smokin Goldrush rally representing. Too bad that UGR Gallardo got into an accident on the last leg. At least it's still repairable but it sounds so mean.

oh ok gotcha, thanks.

Yea, it always stays at 17.8.I'm honestly not sure, I don't know if I caused it or if it just came like that. I'm breaking her in so I haven't had the opportunity to stretch any gear past 3.5-4k.

I guess I'll be able to figure it out once I can actually work her.
Yea either it's just there to show u what the stock STI peak is, OR it just hasn't changed because u haven't gone past 4k yet

Cool, thanks for the info. I'll probably try joining a subbie forum and see what these guys say about it. The only forum I use is NT

Well, there's everything here so I didn't feel the need to join another :nthat:

i lurk on clubwrx and nasioc...the latter is the biggest forum online, but beware, its full of aholes. better to do a lot of reading via posted guides before asking lol
