What's a good car wash spot in LA?

If you're like me and live in an apartment then washing it yourself may not be an option. I bought a new car a few months back and have been taking it to Galaxy Car Wash in Midcity. $10 for 100% handwash. $18 if you want a wash and vacuum.

My man, that's the place I was gonna go.

I have a 2014 Honda Accord, glad to see they're recommended here as well.

NT,

I have M3 fever badly later. May be a phrase but really thinking of paying down and trading in the G for a Alpine White e92. Not sure on the reliability side of it though, need to look more into it.

That or the new RCF. No interest in the new turbo V6 M4.

I've had my E92 M3 for about 4 years now and haven't had one issue with it. You'll love it :smokin

Guys what's the rule of thumb for the average milegae of a used car? Is it 15,000 a year?

Anyways, I went to check out this 2004 325i today and on my way I stumbled upon 2 white RHD Skylines :wow:

Sorry I couldn't take better pictures for you guys, I was in a hurry. :\

Integra for 1300, only problems is tie rods (inner/outer) need replacing. Has AC & he says it runs good, of course I want to see the car. But the tie rods are shot, said he'd have his boy tow it to me. I think it's pretty clear that I shouldn't consider it, being that I can't see how the car even runs.

You should try and save some more money if you can. But if you need to then i would say slim pickins. If you can save around 2500 to 3k you can get a semi decent whip. Do you need a car? Or do you just really want one now

Found a 98 Civic, 188k and it looks good. No reported issues in the post, says new battery and guy just replaced the oil last week, tires with great tread according to him. He reduced the price, said he doesn't need the car, alot of flakers apparently. 1300 asking price, seriously considering going to check it out. I need a car now, before it was a want, but seeing as I'm going to be working really late nights, I highly doubt my parents will be willing to pick me up that late into the night.

I'd go for it.  A maintained late 90s Honda/Toyota will last you to 350k+, and most repairs wont break your pockets.  My 97 toyota corolla ran until 295,000 , then the odometer broke and stopped counting the miles.  I still put another 60+ on it after that with minor maintenance.

For real though, **** driving that car.

I had an s2000, i know how tail happy those cars are.  With all that power, plus the weight distribution messed up by that giant v10, that thing is a death trap

My 05 ap2 was stock and was definitely tail happy. Had to baby this thing in the rain :x

I heard 06+ had traction control but not sure how big of a difference this made

Lol no. The s2000 is notorious for being tail happy.

for the record i had some $850 Kumho Ecsta tires on that ***** for a while. With a 180 tread life, sticky as hell. didn't really fix it.  just how those cars are

And like GTB said, the rain is a ******* nightmare in those cars.  Heard lots of stories of people losing control and crashing just from changing freeway lanes in wet conditions.

Empty parking lots at night in the rain though
