This is too dope :pimp: .  Did you end up buying new?  Really want to pick one up, but I need a CPO steal  .

I hear that but I still like "U" the best

this is a CPO; I got a pretty good deal I had been looking for about a month, just came off a lease in great shaoe

CPO is the way to go; get all that depreciation out of it

Yes. That's a rather vague question

I usually get one done when the vehicle price is over 7-8 grand. I've went to the dealership once for one, but I usually use the nearest Canadian Tire (Up here, they're responsible for doing all Vehicle Inspections for cars being imported here, so they're pretty thorough). Usually runs about 120 bucks at Canadian Tire here.

If the car is 3-4 grand, I wouldn't bother, just look it over really good, take it for a long drive, and make sure you hit the highway at some point in it.

I was asking because I'm buying used from a private party, not a stealer ship. Remember guys, I'm a complete car noob trying to buy my first car. So I want to be as safe as possible with my hard earned money.

I went to check out an 04 TSX today, it's an automatic transmission with no navigation. It has 102,3xx miles on the odometer, black exterior, tan interior and some mods to it (eibach springs, intake, brake rotors, lip spoiler, smoked tails) that one of the previous owners must have done to it. I think he said he's like the 3rd or 4th owner and he's had it for less than 2 months.

He said he bought it for his wife about a month and a half ago but she doesn't want it. He says he wants his money back lol, he's asking $6,700 for it.

At that price, since it's your first time buying a car, I would strongly recommend getting it checked out for peace of mind, and so you know what you're getting yourself into. I'm usually a little hesitant buying cars that people have had for only a short amount of time (having said that, the Sierra I just sold yesterday I only had for a month and a half, the buyer didn't seem too worried ), so that would be another reason to get it looked over.

Those mods are pretty minor, they wouldn't scare me off of buying that car as long as they were done properly.

Lastly, if he's asking $6700, you can definitely get it for cheaper, there's ALWAYS a little wiggle room off anyone's asking price. Bring cash when you go to negotiate after the car has checked out, you'll be surprised how flexible people will become when there's cash in front of them. Don't hesitate to walk away if there's a couple things wrong with the car. Don't believe him when he says he bought it for $6700 and wants his money back.

Youre better off getting a stock car.

Nice A5. How much they give you for the BRZ?

Stick?

It's auto

I got $19k for the BRZ

it's crazy one dealer basically didn't even want it :smh:

the car is failing, 2015 models aren't selling and people are getting rid of the 13 and 14's

Hopefully Subaru realizes they need to make the STi model or do something about the lack of power
