@250caddy

They drive box Chevys up there in Canada?
Preferably a two door joint?

They call them the bel airs (80-82) joints

Would you be weary of a STI with 140k miles, even if its average miles for a 10 year old car?
i'd be weary of any STI

haha nah forreal i'd try to keep it under 100k. And have it looked at and do a compression test on any STI you want to buy. Especially if it's been modded

I'm currently slapping the dashboard of my van so we can make it to and from work till Thursday and Friday so I can get my idler arms replaced :smh:

Can I duct tape em to keep em steady ?

I have plans to rebuild it into a monster anyway, Id just rather enjoy it for a bit before having to do that lol

I found a good deal right up the road for a 03 WRX with only 90k, full STI 6 speed swap, Brembos, VF39, etc... Basically a bugeye STI which sounds

Just gotta trash the Rotas.

i like the way you think. Honestly if i could go back to when i sold my 05 Evo and had a lot of cash sitting around and bought my 04 Evo and dumped a bunch of money into it, i would have bought one for cheaper with no motor or a blown motor and just built a badass motor. would have probably saved money or broke even to what i ended up spending and had a LOT more power.

you should do that bro

Yeah, Ive let 2 STIs leave my driveway and I don't plan on doing that again. Plus as years go on fewer and fewer of the 02-07 models will be around and in somewhat decent body condition. I cry on the inside every time I look back at pictures

thinkin i'm gonna let my Evo go soon. Hope i don't have the same regrets but i think it's bound to happen. These type of cars are just too damn fun to drive no matter what you replace them with

Exactly. With Evos stopped being in production you gotta hold on to it man. Same goes with the older model STIs, they're classics. These new models aren't the same.

100% man. New ones just ain't the same at all.  The looks of the Evo X have really grown on me. Especially when they're sitting on some nice wide CE28s. but driving it is nothing like driving an 8/9

but idk man. i want a e92 M3 reaaaaallllll bad.

and driving a GTR would make me forget about the Evo real quick

There's a black one and a blue one that i know of around here, both are done up lowriders with hydraulics. Both have the Euro front clips, the 87 front ends with the one piece headlights. No donks or slabs here (thank god) so they're either lowriders or stock

you mean you would missout on stuff like this?

test driving that Mazda 6 on Friday

Was looking at a Accord but now it got me thinking .. I don't want to spend 20K for someone to stick out their hand while I'm driving because they think I'm a taxi

I just knew that Camaro had to be from Florida. Those the type of donks you see out here all the time :smh:

Like this

Wish I had bought an older WRX/STI but wanted a new car good on gas mileage and settled for a new impreza hatch. Thinking of picking up a 2nd car in the next year though for something to work on that is more fun to drive
That seems like a good deal, atleast he tells you that its been rebuilt. The one I was looking at was at a small dealer so I have no idea whats done past what I can see.
