\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

i heard rod bearing issue stems from not properly warming the car and not changing the oil as frequently as you should.

is that true?

Looks...weird.

Keep looking man, there are so many other good deals out there.
Oh yea i would never buy that one. Plus i will only be buying a 6 speed.

and i'm not even ready to get one just yet.  But just pointing out that the prices are getting very affordable

If you have the means to travel to get one then you can find some great deals. This one was kind of the "one", literally 10 miles from home, my favorite color in cars and they offered me almost 5gs more than I owed on my trade.
Yep once i'm ready to get one i'll definitely look all over California and also Oregon & Nevada.

If you ever want to take a closer look at one, let me know, I'm in the Bay Area also. You can see how epic DCT is.

That is correct. Maintenance schedule calls for 15K mile oil changes, but most change it out every 7500.
holy crap 15k?  i change mine every 3k

It literally feels like you're drive/riding in a manual car. After the salesman went over all the features inside the car with me he decided to show me how to do launch control, then proceeded to say he wouldn't do it very often

I agree, doesn't make much sense. You can always install an Electronic Performance Steering wheel which has shift lights on the wheel.
ehh it's not a big deal i just thought the one built into the cluster was cool.  And who knows maybe i'll end up with a DCT after i drive them both.
