they so unique

:pimp:

I want one as well, but with switches.
i feel like these are great cars
roomy interior
simple mechanics
v8+rwd

New cars that Im seriously considering kopping in the next year or two. Not really a fan of Ford or domestics really, but Im interested in what the Focus RS might offer.

CPO'd M235i (M2 will be out my budget)

Small, RWD, M Performance parts, 350-370 hp with just a tune, warranty

MK7 Golf R

AWD, relatively light, hatch, 380 hp with tune + exhaust, basically 80% of an EVO/STi with a better interior & build quality

That dub is nice but it isn't anywhere close to a STI or Evo. Newer STIs are getting nicer on the interior as well.

You're not alone. They all sound the same to me too. I don't even think they sound that great? I'm about to get banned

It's funny because if I wasn't looking, I could recognize a BMW coming down the block from the distinct sound. But when it comes to muscle, mustangs, LS engines, and Hemi's all are distinguishable. I really want to say all ricers sound the same but that wouldn't be fair. Neither is saying ricers, so let's go with JDM.

Can't go wrong with either. I haven't driven the VW, but the M235i is a great car.

IMO that golf looks way better than an STI. Can't say the performance is better though cause I don't know.

I can always tell american muscle apart. And ricers? Yep all sound like **** lol

I ended up going over a pothole running errands with my mom earlier. I come home to take a look around my car and I see this. :smh:

Large displacement with FI >>> Small displacement with FI
Except the best turbos can push more pressure than the best s/c and most big v8 can't fit a turbo system easily or at all.

Also smaller engines generally get better mpg, and the cars aren't nearly as heavy either.

Man, I've been trying to tell these fools out here.  Don't think just because you have some big V8 that you own the block.  There's so much more that goes into a car besides big engines.  With the technology we have now, we can pull so much more out a FI 6cyl than a NA 8cyl from the early days.  Only downfall is losing the growl of the v8 if that's what you're in to.

LOL the car JUST released in the US. I think u'd be surprised by the performance
of this generation. I still give the STi & EVO credit, which is why I said its about 80%
of their performance. The new STi/WRX is in its best year, but they still have that
same old engine in the STi. A lot of reviews put these two neck & neck, but I dont think
I could live with an STi as a DD. Plus a VW with an easy 380hp with a tune and a premium
interior seems pretty dope to me, albeit its a bit overpriced.

04-07 STI>>>>>>>> Any VW on the market. I like VW, I was a big fan of the early 2000s GLI.

If you're looking new models then thats different, but those years are just raw and the body is beautiful. One 08 came out I didn't care for them anymore.
