I went and got my stuff installed, all the stuff is new but my sub smells like death.

I'm pretty sure it's not normal for a sub to smell funny just because it's new. They do smell funny when the voice coil is burning up, perhaps the gains on the amp are set too high, or the sub is wired funny if it's a dual voice coil sub (most half decent ones are).

Yeah I agree with him completely, that car/color combo is gonna stand out like crazy, I would be scared to park it on the street without having it in my view. You may get a ton of compliments etc, but all you need is one idiot/hater to **** your **** up when no ones looking
