i really like this gen Accord, especially the coupe

only downside is that honda doesn't make it in AWD

and I feel like the V6 doesn't have enough HP :rolleyes

cop what you can afford comfortably. I make enough to not worry about it and I want to enjoy myself before kids. Once I start a family I will still have a toy..just don't know if it will be a 80k toy lmao..

I was thinking about eventually just coppin a commuter cash and saving up a bit for "the toy". I might buy a muscle car and build it... or go back to Subaru and fix one up to my taste....

or maybe just say F it and pull da tr**** on a GTS or GT4.. I want to have a porsche at least once in my lifetime.

My 2013 Accord EXL navi was a great car! Was not crazy expensive and has a lot of tech....

As far as depreciation..everything depreciates to a certain extent.. you have to know how to buy smart. A house is only an investment if you purchased at the right time and qualified for a good rate. I know dudes that own homes that they are buried in but it makes no diff to them because it is "theirs"..

My plan right now is to live at my new spot for a year or two.. rent it out

cop another place, and repeat.

anybody in florida catch those downpours yesterday? talk about FLOODS!! my teggy is waterloogged she Stinks!! seals leaking everywhere!!

I must get new weatherstripping on all doors cause I felt like I was in a sinking submarine yesterday.  I usually keep it in the garage so it never sees much rain, maybe a shower here n there.  (I wonder if living upnorth for a winter ruined the rubber seals?) its NEVER leaked!  Hawaii n cali n boston then florida all of a sudden i cant keep water out.  i dont get it...is geting new weather stipping expensive bros?? or is it a easy home repair?

retropapi had da hawkeye too :nerd:
mind = blown

did 707 use to have that blue BRZ? :wow:

it just randomly hit me

Yes the blue BRZ on Black Rays, Coils and CF was mine. I also had the same type of set up on my 07 hawkeye limited...I loved those cars TBH..

You can cop a new sti for 40k... dump 10k in it and BAM, even better.

My Hawkeye held value pretty well. The brz, not so much.

BRZ value went to the gutter with the FRS. I still see quite a few on the road and it just doesnt look that good to me anymore ( at least the rear..the front is dope)

The car was comfortable but just wasnt feeling it much anymore.

The BRZ looks really nice. If I only cared about looks and not performance, I probably would've given cars like the BRZ and the Miata a second look.

I feel you man. got to the point where Even at full throttle it would just not be that exciting.. lol

I did drive it on the 17mile drive and it was OK.

Recently took the M to monterey and that was a whole diff beast.. I am in love..Will be hard to go back to anything slower

that's why ypu need to cop da Porsche

Bro's in here making 100k/yr how much are you willing to spend on a car?

I was willing to spend about 35k max. My thinking was get something nice enough that I'll be happy for long-term (6-10yrs) ownership, but resist spending a lot because I wanted to live in/very near the city, where I'd be taking mass transit and spirited driving is difficult (without being very unsafe and/or getting caught). Another few rules I had was the car could not cost more than 50% of available cash (savings) at the time and car payment could not be more than 10% of net monthly income (selling my old car privately also boosted my down payment). I'd prefer to splurge on going out and travel when I can. But to me it makes sense for some folks to spend more on cars, since they spend long, daily commutes in them, and might be in an area where fun drives are readily accessible.

Yet another example of how money does NOT buy brains (or driving skills, either  )

Concerning how expensive a car to buy, there are "how much car can I afford" calculators on the internet if you google them.
