\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

Man I hate driving my boy's C300. Its a 2014 but the car feels so laggy. I hit the gas and it takes what feels like a second to get the car going. Its like a constant pressure you have to push cause if you push too hard it just "jumps".

All MB are like that? And I have to turn off that stupid Eco thing that turns the engine off when it idles.

The Mercedes c300 has never really felt 'sporty' to me. I remember when I was younger I used to try to drive it hard but I gave up. It's not that kind of car. It's more of a car to drive if you want to relax in it.

I dont expect it to be sporty but I font expect that lag when I hit the gas either. I much rather drive my Si 9/10 times, bad suspension and all.

I don't really know about this lag when you hit the gas. Maybe it's something I never paid attention to, like how I never noticed ny has yellow license plates  I just notice that the c300 doesn't feel as 'sporty' as the bmw equivalent.

When I want to have fun, I like my parent's 3 series. If I want to just relax. C300.

I will try out the c300 again when I get the chance

I'm mostly ok on a stick now. But damn if getting stuck at a red light on a steep hill with a car right on my rear bumper doesn't give me heart palpitations.

I had visions of my first rear end accident going through my head. Smh
Amel, sometimes when I am trapped at a light on an incline with another car right on me I will pull up on the parking brake and disengage the brake once I am moving forward and not in danger of going backwards.

For the classic car guys on here, saw this on bringatrailer.com (my new addiction by the way).  A beautiful 1969 De Tomaso Mangusta

Apparently hacking into the computers of some cars, causing them to crash is a real issue now

Kinda scurry thought

Ya'll late.

Fiat-Chrysler recalled 1 million+ vehicles and are looking into the Harman radio system as the possible problem.

wow hackable cars

on the other hand it would be funny as hell to hack into a friends car and mess with the radio and turn on their wipers and stuff

i think the ford GT predates the mangusta.

the GT40's history is awesome. it was specifically engineered to beat enzo ferrari at le mans. good to see it finally making its return.

My mom has a 2014 c300, I've driven it a few times and know exactly what you mean

Speed cameras and red light cameras are all over the DC district.

Like, it's disgusting. I'm not one to speed in residential areas or run red lights, but I can't even cruise.

You can be in a 45-55 area and the road will change to a 35 and you won't even know it because they put the 35mph sign behind the camera

I've been trapped so many times like that.

It's purposely done like that too

Always drive with waze on in the city because of this. Most red light and speed cameras have been reported.

My co worker gave me a lift in his G8 yesterday.

Brah, my life ain't been the same since

depends on the car.. for some it makes sense..for others not really.. Ive been doing a lot of research on my M and adding a full cat , no real gains for the money.. Changing downpipes and such ends up being better on both the car and my pockets... It varies from car to car depending on what you are looking for in result.

anyone in here own a New AMG C63 S?

That exhaust note is sexy..

I just cant get over the blah front

:x Detomaso's
