I may get something new tomorrow. Not definite.

Porsche>>>>>

Seen a white 997 turbo yesterday parked outside the residence. I found it odd since I live in the hood and you never see those type of cars here. Come to find out, it belonged to a project manager who was planning a renovation in the building accross from where I live. Man when he turned the car on and I heard the sound of that engine.....*insert Noah face jpeg here*

^ Looking at the '16 Mustang. At the dealership now waiting on dude to come back with the application. Joint is piff, test drove it but didn't let it breathe all the way. My main reason for switching was that they claimed I could possibly get lower payments, plus remote start/rear view camera is something that I want to get.

Man dealerships know they can be full of it.

The only reason I went was because I received a letter from them saying that "my car has increased in value and there's a shortage in this area" blah blah blah " we can give you 125% of the blue book value, our records indicate that your trade in is worth 23,000 (average) to 24000 (clean). You could possibly get a new car with lower payments.

The lower payments was all I was interested in, for a new vehicle. I figured it was bait and switch material so I didn't get hopes up. I'm off today with no plans, so let me see what they're talking about. After driving it and doing the app, dude comes back talking about "we can give you 9k for a trade in, or possibly 10k". I'm like , so where does this 23k come from, since your records indicate that's what it's worth. Dude starting stuttering and mumbling then said something about possibly having someone take my current car/payments. I did an about face and went straight to the car wash to shine my '13 up.

I swear this is false advertisement. I wish there was a way that I could hold them to it.

Bro car dealerships are the worst consumer experiences in America. The car dealership lobby should be sued and disbanded.

When I bought my most recent car there was one on a lot right up the street from my job. I've been doing research on my car for months so I knew what my car was worth and what I should have paid for the car. I had even already arranged financing through my credit union.

I test drove and said I'd come back as I was on my lunch. Salesmen blew my phone up for a week. Dude even called me after I told him my wife was going in labor. I finally texted dude what I wanted to pay and if that was cool I'd come in and sign the paperwork.

I finally get there and they changed the terms by a good 10K. Gave him and his manager a  and went home.

Next I jumped on trucar and got a quote for the price I wanted. Dude once again blew up me to get me in the dealership. I get there and they tell me they can't order the car at the price dude told they could get it to me to for.

To finally get the car at the price I wanted I had to order through a guy on a Charger forum.

I know my car is "rare" but man I was heated. ***** absurd.

I despise car dealerships.

What kind of car is it?

Lol on my dealer's website, they guaranteed 2.9 financing for all new subies. When we were negotiating, they offered us 4.2 at first, then 3.9. Then when we asked about the 2.9 they guaranteed on their website, they said that they only offered that for 2015 models. I checked their website on my phone again and it said, including 2016. They were still reluctant to drop it to 2.9, until I got up to walk away lol

@yanky '16 Mustang.

I called the other dealership and spoke with someone and they informed me that my vehicle didn't qualify for the quoted trade in amount because of my vehicles mileage. Then don't send me stuff in the mail that states "our records indicate..." when apparently your records are bs. She stated that it's listed on the fine print. I was like "of course, I figured it was a catch. This is the type of stuff that gives car dealerships a bad name".

Think the amp went bad in my Benz. Bought a used one off eBay and finally plugged it in today. The speakers worked, but the sound wasn't quite as loud as it used to be. Also the bass is definitely not where it used to be. Not sure if the new amp is also bad, but my friend who couldn't help me install today said the new amp probably isn't bad and he can fix it. You guys have any thoughts? What could he possibly tweak to fix it?

My Subaru dealership pulled the same BS with me. Tried to get my 8.9% when they were running a 0.9% promo. These dealers are all scum man :smh:

8.9

o_O

I would've laughed and said see you suckers

Even if they eventually dropped it, I would've still left for being too insulted

I'm assuming it is a factory amp? And that it probably doesn't have any adjustability on the outside right? I'm with you, I don't see how you'd be able to adjust or tweak a factory amp to deliver more bass..... The only thing I can think of is maybe it needs to be calibrated?

For what it is worth, I have almost 0 experience with factory amps, aftermarket amps on the other hand, I've installed plenty.
