Keep in mind that the convention center he mentioned is in Miami Beach, a completely different city. Locals who live in the mainland know that city thrives on tourism so the goons are always on the look out for out-of-towners for a come up.

I've always been willing to do small things but didn't start to tackle engine and suspension work until I had the GTO. I started meeting so many people that are hands-on and know they're stuff and it grew from there. I wasn't sure if many of the newer European car owners were able to do the same because it's getting so complex with modern tech.

My brother and i did his intake, charge pipe, and put in the jb4 in his 335. It wasnt too bad once you understand what plastic part is what.

We passed on the downpipes because its supposedly really hard in a xi.

Him and my dad did the coilovers but they said it was pretty straight forward.

I dont think they are hard its just most people dont want to risk it the making a mistake on a more expensive car.
 
I work on my own cars, but when you track your cars you kind of have no choice.

I do anything that doesn't require specialized tools. And its not because I'm cheap or can't afford a mechanic its just hard to trust 99% of them.

car is easily worth more than 1k esp if you're handy and can diy a few small things :lol: (if anything is wrong with it)

Finally get my Caddy and some ****nut tried to break in. Wasn't successful. Knew it was going happen sooner or later at this ****** *** complex. I'm moving out in 2 weeks. Sadly this is my 2nd car that someone messed with here.

Used to work on my old hondas. Havent touched anything with the sti. Just dont have the time to learn how to do it or have time to do any of the work. That plus id be scared to mess up on something. Its nice to know a mechanic you can trust. I just drop it off the shop and just get updates and pick it up afterwards
 
bigboss , wcis , nelson ........thoughts on light yellow tint on my front headlights ? and what color should i make my halos.....the regular white seems boring when you can put purple/blue/red/green/etc...lol
