what else would you recommend, its going to be my first car and I'm paying cash for it fully so I just wanted something nice but still affordable with power
 
What's your budget? Those I see going for about 10-15k depending on condition. Also do you need 4 doors?

Go buy a terminator cobra. Toss a pulley on it, get it tuned. You should be right around 20 grand, and it will have plenty of HP. And when you get tired of it and go to sell it, it'll probably be worth more then what you originally paid for it.

Win win in my eyes.

I'm trying to stay a little bit under or around 10k as much as possible, 4 doors would be highly appreciated but I do like coupes depending on the styling

Agreed, I just cant get down with that model GTO, I think its one of the few cars where the sedan looks better than the coupe.

What do you guys think is the best platform to start with and build power from?  LS? 2JZ? Coyote?

Those engines were built to be modified

Will take just about every forced induction setup you'd throw at it
You can even give it a retro look by throwing an efi carb and still get a lot of power out if them without forced induction


Did I mention they sound great with an aggressive cam?

Cheaper to mod also because you have a lot of aftermarket parts selling for em too

bro , when it comes to the "car world" and if we talking cars , then yes IM superior asf when it comes to cars to a honda civic . Im tired of the camry and honda drivers trying to criticize my buy and what i wanted to spend my money on while they drive some 4 banger that their parents pay for them

dude its 10+ times in the past 30 days where im talking about YOUNG THUG / STEPH CURRY IN THE MUSIC OR SPORTS SECTION and my car gets brought up , its annoying when you cant go post "takeoff is better than the other 2 migos" without someone mentioning my M3

:lol: the man is proud of his purchase and ain't afraid to show it, let the man bask in his glory. I got an e85 bought myself and coming from a nissan maxima as my first car I feel like I can gloat without overstepping my boundaries and becoming the euro d-bag however as soon as I got my bimmer, I had a friend (who drives a civic si btw) jokingly call me a euro d-bag :smh: The roles has changed, I'm a humble person about my cars but a JDM fan boy always has something slick to say smh.
