\\ Post Your Car vol. Been a minute //

What kinda soap you all use

I use auto finesse, sonax, and swissvax products on the Porsche and Lexus. Do not use microfiber mitts. Use merino wool only like the carpro mitt. And use a good iron remover on your car and wheels twice a year. I also use several rupes polishers to keep the paint looking good and removing any swirls. I sometimes detail on the side for others in the pca club that are older people that don't know how to detail their cars. I usually take 3 days to do the whole car to get it perfect. If anyone has questions about how to detail hardcore pm me or go on live2detail forums. Other forums don't have as many hardcore knowledgeable pro detailers on them.

Subaru can't keep up with the demand  :smh:
With their Dinosaur of the EJ257

And there are those Hyperblue STi's still sitting in dealerships after nearly a year. People rather wait and order one than go with that color and pay the limited edition MSRP price.

My 22B sold out across the nation in like 2months? With people paying up to nearly $10k over sticker price
You know what they say theres a sucker born every minute

Yea, lower cost of living and well-paying, and/or abdundant jobs never really go hand-in-hand.

They do in Texas. That's why everyone is flocking here

I guess in comparison to other states is what I meant. I don't doubt Texas has better opportunities than other low-cost housing/living states at all.

1400

All this means is the old money that has been in New York metro for 100s years live in Jersey.

For someone that is not born into wealth and actually has to go get their own New Jersey isn't that place.

There is a reason more people move from New Jersey than move to it and it has literally 0 population growth ,it would actually be negative if not or the natural population increase of New Jeresey residents reproducing.

Between the weather and pro business tax and labor laws Texas is where its at.

Population?

Ehh..

1000

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_U.S._states_by_population_density

More people are leaving than are moving to it.

People that have lived there for generations stay there and die there.

Which makes the fact that they are the most densely populated state in the country, despite having the highest property taxes in the country pretty impressive.

If being a place that owes its identity and a vast majority of its economy to its proximity to another city in another state, sure that's impressive.

Don't let your emotions cloud your reasoning.

There are other states that are in the same proximity which just don't live up to New Jersey. And haven't for decades on decades.

Focus on the facts, my friend. It's a little difficult at times, but it's what makes a discussion have a respectable basis.

NJ is literally across a river from NYC there is no State closer.

CT is like 3 times the size of NJ and im sure Greenwich, CT is close to NJ when it comes to income.

But this is the car thread why are we arguing about NJ

If you really from NJ you have a love hate relationship

. Like anywhere else it has its ups and downs. I can have real good italian food and drive 5min up RT33 and have good chinese food.

And yea that whole high cost of living= higher income is not always 100% true. NJ is the perfect example or that. I work as a firefighter in a very expensive town. Don't live there. You're average colonial style house goes for around $400,000. Yet we make no where near the need to afford to live there. They would need to give us a HUGE raise. Taxes in that town are like $12,000 a year

Anyway back to cars

That Subaru statement is so true. Guy at the dealer was telling me all about it. And how they had their Hyper blue STI sit

Yep, people pay $1k-$2k+ for Adidas Boost sneakers.

Essentially they can sell it for the same price at the end of the day, though.
Dare I say they can sell it for more in the near future?

Would I pay $10k over sticker price for a Launch Edition?
No, since I paid sticker, but I can see why people did pay and how quickly they sold out.
3 months to sell a 1000 units is quick?

This is my assumption.

The first 900 were sold within a week.
I lucked out purchasing it under 2 months of its release.
There were only 2 left in my state.

Sodium. Regular checkups are good.
So what i got from that is it took close to 3 months to sell a 100?

Even though I almost lost control and killed myself this morning tryna get to work saint Louis is dope

Speeding up and I guess it was too much tourqe output. Caused the wheel to spin
swerved back and fortha few times and saved it from spinning into a bank beside the highway

Came out unscathed

Bout 7 mins later I switched a lane started swerving again and almost hit a semi

Came out unscathed.

Stay safe fellas.

Damn what happened? Did the where you from get a lil serious? Sorry if I contributed to that

Same ish over and over...
Not for long.  If it happens again, report it.  If it's the same few people every time - and it is - then this is a very easy fix.

No more whining.  No more excuses.  Everyone is sick of it.

This is supposed to be the "post your car" thread, not the "overcompensate for your insecurities" thread.  I'm tired of reading reports every week about this thread morphing into the urination olympics.

Get over your car, get over your state, get over yourself or get out of this thread

I think its sad that people have to report the conversations in here. Its easy to ignore someone or just skip over the content but lets just move on from the subject.

I wonder what Meth drives :nerd:
