Think I told this one before

On my way home from work I spun out off a ramp trying to "drift"

Got very lucky no cars were around and I didn't hit the wall :smh:

Very stupid of me.

Yeah I guess you could say I know him.

Since we're doing sports car confessions, my experience was similar to yours.

Back when I had just got my GTO, it was wet out and I made a right turn. I intentionally gave it gas thinking I could drift around the turn. Well, I did but I stayed in it too long. Back end stepped out to the left, like a novice I countered while jamming the brake. It snapped right, I countered, back to the left again but this time all the around and I ended up with the driver side against a tall curb and facing the wrong direction. No cars were nearby at the time but it was embarrassing. Body damage wasn't bad but the front suspension was f****d and the rear control arm was bent. Only had the car two weeks. Fortunately it wasn't totaled and I learned to respect it.
Damn, yea that is pretty similar. I couldn't believe my car had no real damage after flying over a median, I was expecting damage like what happened to you. Like you said though, could've been worse.

Those GTO's are pretty cool, I wish there were more here in Canada, all the ones I see for sale have been imported.

Speaking of drifting, I was driving home from school a couple nights ago. Hit a stop light, and as I was waiting, a Supra comes flying down the road, busts a left in front of me, and hits the gas halfway through the turn. Rear kicks out, and I'm like ****, this dude is gonna wreck a MKIV Supra right in front of me  . Dude pulls a perfect drift around the corner, and keeps it sideways for like another 100 meters. Left me sitting there like dammmmmmn, I'd love to learn the skills to be able to drive like that.

My first real car was an 07 Mini Cooper S. Then FRS, now Mx 5. All manual. I love shifting. It's fun to go hard in low powered cars. In high hp cars you can stay in 3rd all day.

Lets be honest here for a little bit. We know the M4 will still sell because its is a BMW which has the heritage and the symbol. But how much more than the Camaro would you pay for it?

35k might be too much for some but what about 10K? what about 15K?
